Joey Logano notched his third point-race victory of the year two weeks ago at Bristol with Kevin Harvick adding yet another second-place finish and Denny Hamlin taking third.
My top contender at Bristol was Jimmie Johnson and he raced his way to a fourth-place finish at +1000 betting odds.
The following is a look at my top favorite, contender and longshot to win this Sunday night’s Sprint Cup race at Darlington based on betting odds provided by Top Bet,
The Favorite (odd of less than 10/1)
You almost have to go with Kevin Harvick as a +400 favorite to win on Sunday night.

It is hard to keep getting that close to winning a race and not eventually finish first. The No. 4 car’s second-place finish at Bristol was the 10th time this season this team has been a runner-up in a point race this season. This defines the concept of being due.
Along with the fact that the defending Sprint Cup Champ has been the most consistent driver on the track this season, he adds some solid value to these odds as the defending champ of this race.
The Contender (odds from 10/1 to 19/1)
I am basically applying the same rational for this week’s pick at contender by once again going with Jimmie Johnson at the same +1000 betting odds to win this week.

While some time has elapsed since the No. 48 car’s last point race victory, this team is still just one of two with a total of four checkered flags on the year.
I also like the fact that Johnson comes into this week’s race at Darlington with three previous finishes of fourth or better in his last three runs around this track including a victory in this event in 2012.
The Longshot (odds 20/1 or greater)
There are just two more races until the start of the Chase so I went down the list this week to find a longshot that needs a win on Sunday night to guarantee a spot in the 16-driver field.
I settled-in on Kasey Kahne at +3000 betting odds.
Currently sitting in 18th-place in the Sprint Cup point standings, he is probably going to need a win either this week or next week at Richmond to get into this season’s playoffs.
Faced with the same exact situation last season in the 25th point race of the season, Kahne went onto win at Atlanta to secure a spot in the Chase.
The one drain on his odds is just one Top 5 finish at Darlington going back to the 2006 Sprint Cup season.
