Joey Logano not only won last week’s race at Talladega to keep his 2016 Sprint Cup title hopes alive, he won that race as my top-valued contender at +1200 betting odds for a nice late-season payout on my end.

Brian Scott was second in that race and Denny Hamlin’s third-place finish was enough to squeeze him into the next round.
The following is a look at my top favorite, contender and longshot to win this Sunday’s race at Martinsville based on betting odds provided by MyBookie.
2016 Goody’s Fast Relief 500 Odds: The Favorite (odd of less than 10/1)
It has been awhile since six-time Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson has been in contention for another title this late in the season, but a recent victory at Charlotte punched his ticket to the Round of 8.
This week at Martinsville his odds to win are the second-best on the board at +500 and I really like the value in that number.
We know that Johnson and his No. 48 Chevrolet racing team will be highly motivated to earn an automatic spot in the championship race with a win in one of the next three Chase events and Martinsville might be his best chance.
His average finishing position at this track in a Sprint Cup race is 7.5 on the strength of eight career victories here.
2016 NASCAR Goody’s Fast Relief 500 Odds: The Contender (odds from 10/1 to 19/1)
Matt Kenseth is still looking for his first victory in this year’s Chase, but he has come dangerously close twice with a second-place run at both New Hampshire and Charlotte.
His odds to take that next step with a trip to the Winner’s Circle this Sunday have been set at +1000.
[dfads params=’groups=246&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
Martinsville has not been one of Kenseth’s favorite tracks over the course of his Sprint Cup career, but he has guided the No. 20 Toyota to a sixth-place finish or better in four of his last six trips around this track.
2016 NASCAR Goody’s Fast Relief 500 Odds: The Longshot (odds 20/1 or greater)
For the past six races since the 2016 Chase got underway, one of the 16 original drivers with some of the longest odds on the board to win each week has been Kurt Busch.
He has only made his way to Victory Lane once this season, but he continues to drive well enough to keep his title chances alive behind the wheel of the No. 41 Chevrolet.
This team is coming off its best Chase run with a fourth place finish last Sunday at Talladega to add some value to its steep +2250 odds to win this Sunday’s race.
Busch has not always been at his best at this track, but he did race well enough to win the first race at Martinsville early in the 2014 season.
