The Blue Jays host the Angels at Rogers Center on Wednesday night.
The Angels stink, they’ve lost three of their last five after going on a 11 game losing streak!
The Jays are hungry to sweep this series as they battle for the AL East. They’ve lost two of their last three against the Indians after leading in all three games going to the eighth.

The Angels fell off the face of the earth in August after looking like a competitive team in the AL.
They’ve managed to win three of their last six but there is very little to be proud of for this ballclub.
They’ve scored just three runs over their last three games so not much has changed for them offensively.
Shoemaker has been pretty reliable but without run support, it has been for little reward.
He gave up just two to the Mariners in his last start in which they actually won.
Prior to that he gave up five over six innings to the Indians though.
He’s oven up three runs or less in six of his last eight starts so he’ll give the Jays a challenge who are still without Bautista and Pillar.
Toronto Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays are still atop the AL East despite under performing based on high expectations.
So some can say they are a game away from breaking out.
It was painful for them to drop two out of three games against the Indians since they are battling for top spot in the AL but the team is staying positive.
They’ve generated 29 runs over their last five games so the offense is still producing despite key injuries.
Marco Estrada has been a rock for the Jays, but he’s been roughed up a bit as of late.
He gave up five over four innings to the Yankees and four over six innings to the Orioles on July 29th. So that’s two bad outings over his last four.
Nevertheless, he’s still been outstanding and has given up three or less in eight of his last 10 starts! So those two starts are really just outliers.
