2018 Football Preview – AAC – Midshipmen
Looking for 2018 Navy Midshipmen predictions? The Midshipmen used to be the class of the military schools, but now that doesn’t seem to be the case. They are struggling the last few years, and they have lost two years in a row against the Army Black Knights and that is concerning. They lost six of the last seven games of the season, and something big is going to have change this season.

2018 Navy Midshipmen Predictions: Team Strengths
Running Strong : The Navy Midshipmen like most of the military teams like to run the ball and they should even be better this year.
Malcom Perry who was a running back last year, will now be the quarterback and although he isn’t a great thrower of the ball, he does do a really good job running, and that is going to be his main job.
Last season Navy only threw the ball 42 times, and this year don’t look for it to be much different this year. They are going to pound the rock.

Have a ton of talent: This defense is young, but they still have a lot of talent, and although they might have some learning curves early, look for this team to grow as the year goes on.
They have a fast secondary and although young, that should make them exciting to watch on the back end if nothing else.
2018 Navy Midshipmen Predictions: Team Weaknesses
Passing The Ball: Like most military schools, this isn’t a team that throws the ball a lot, and that isn’t going to be any different this year.
If they get behind, it’s going to be tough coming back, and that could be an issue, especially if times get trying for the Midshipment.

Tough AAC: The AAC is a better conference this year, and that could hurt the chances for Navy to actually get better.
They need to get out to a fast start to the season, or they could not only lose to Army because of no confidence, but they could miss out on a bowl game.
Navy Midshipmen Prediction: 7-5
navy has a tough schedule this year, and life isn’t going to be easy, but the offense is going to be the difference this season.

I think they will finish with seven wins and get a big win over Army, and that will be enough to get into a bowl game.
