The Wild got themselves a win on home ice in game 3 and will look to even up the series with Dallas on Wednesday night.
Minnesota Wild
Credit where credit is due, the Wild were totally outclassed for much of games one and two in this series and looked to be in deep trouble early in game three.

The Wild went down 2-0 early on in game three after Patrick Sharp tallied a pair of goals on two of the first three shots of the hockey game. The Wild turned it around after that and were in control of the game until the final buzzer.
Minnesota’s forwards finally woke up with Erik Haula, Jason Pominville, and Mikko Koivu all recording their first goals of the 2016 playoffs.
There might be some concern for the Wild as they still gave up three goals despite playing a very solid defensive game, giving up just 17 shots.
Devan Dubnyk has no given up seven goals in three games so far and against Dallas, Dubnyk has to be better to keep his team out of track meet style hockey games with the league’s most potent offense.
Dallas Stars
There may very well be some doubt creeping into the minds of Dallas Stars fans after a very lack luster game three. The results have steadily declined as the playoffs have worn on and this team needs Tyler Seguin to get back into the lineup.
What’s concerning is how inept this team can look defensively at times. Goalie Kari Lehtonen wasn’t awful on Monday night but he wasn’t given much support from the start of the second period and onward.

About that steady decline: From a 4-0 domination in game one, to a hard-fought 2-1 game two victory, to getting outplayed pretty badly in a 5-3 loss, that by all accounts wasn’t that close, as the Stars scored two early ones then sat back and had the game taken to them for the remainder of the contest.

Free Minnesota Wild vs. Dallas Stars NHL Hockey Prediction
Minnesota is going to be confident now that they know they can score on this Stars team. They’re frustrating to play against when they get a lead and if Minnesota can get off on the right foot in the first period they could very well leave Minnesota tied 2-2.
4* Free NHL Betting Pick:
The first goal will be crucial, Dallas won’t let their foot off the gas if they get up early in game 4, but Minnesota can suffocate a game if they’re up early.
