Two nail biting, low scoring, defensive struggles took place for both Wisconsin and Nebraska last week.
Unfortunately for both of them, the Badgers and Cornhuskers come in off losses.

Wisconsin fell victim to the Iowa Hawkeyes inside Camp Randall and the Cornhuskers played a sloppy game against the Fighting Illini.
Kick off is set for 3:30 PM EST.
Wisconsin
The Badgers 3-2 record comes as a major disappointment as they dropped their 2nd game of the season last week against Iowa. While their losses to Iowa and Alabama are nothing to hang their heads about, Wisconsin has pretty much been eliminated from BCS Playoff contention, something they felt like they would compete for this season.
The Badgers struggled to get anything going offensively as they continue to attempt to find a true back, like Melvin Gordon was last year.

The Badgers are averaging just 167.8 rush yards per game, which isn’t bad, but isn’t going to cut it for them. Wisconsin has turned into a run dominant offense over the years and last year they averaged 320 rush yards per game.
QB Joel Stave continues to struggle as he has a lot more pressure on him with the run game slacking. Stave has thrown for 7 touchdowns, but also has 4 interceptions to his name.
Wisconsin does own the 4th best scoring defense in the nation with 9.6.
Nebraska
It started with a hail mary completion from BYU in Week 1. After that, things seemed to go right downhill for Nebraska.
The Cornhuskers sit under .500 through their first 5 games for the first time since 1959.

However, QB Tommy Armstrong Jr. continues to lead the conference in passing as he sits with 274.4 pass yards per game. Armstrong Jr. is coming off his worst performance since last years game against Wisconsin as he finished just 10 for 31 for 105 yards.
The Cornhuskers have been absolutely dominated in their most recent meetings with Wisconsin. The Badgers have racked up 1120 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground in just their last 2 meetings with Nebraska. That is no typo.
The Cornhuskers will welcome the sight of no Melvin Gordon in the backfield for Wisconsin.

Free Week 6 NCAA Football Prediction
The Badgers are in a rare spot as they are getting points in a Big 10 game. While they haven’t been as dominant this season, they’re still the top tier of the Big 10 and are in a must win spot if they hope to keep their Big 10 Championship hopes alive.
