Without making a whole lot of noise, the West Virginia Mountaineers have gotten off to a 4-0 start this season.
They are only 1-0 in conference play, but they are one of the only three schools that remain undefeated in the Big 12.
Their conference win was a close one when they were able to pull off the victory by one point against the Kansas State Wildcats two weeks ago.

The Red Raiders are fresh off of their game against the K State Cats, a game in which Texas Tech lost 44-38.
Texas Tech will be looking for some revenge after dropping their previous two matchups against the Mountaineers, including 31-26 loss in Morgantown last season.
Texas Tech Red Raiders
This season was been one heck of a roller coaster ride up to this point in Lubbock.
The offense has but up a basketball type score in almost every contest, but the defense has been giving up a lot of points as well.
The offense has been amazing with the football this year, averaging a total of 649 yards per game, but defensively the Red Raiders are allowing opponents to average 445.
The game against Kansas State turned into a shutout right after the opening kickoff and the two teams combined for a total of 59 points, in the first half.

The Wildcats were able to tighten things up in the locker room at halftime though and managed to keep the Red Raiders out of the endzone in the final two quarters of the game.
Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes was able to finish the game completing 45 of 62 passes for 504 yards and two touchdowns, but also a costly interception.
Mahomes has a total of 2,274 passing yards with 20 touchdown passes, while only throwing four interceptions on the season.
West Virginia Mountaineers
West Virginia has definitely stayed under the radar this season without turning too many head, but they have yet to suffer a loss this year.
While they have all been home games for the Mountaineers, they have put together some impressive victories over Missouri, Kansas State, and BYU. Moving the ball was not an issue against Kansas State. West Virginia out gained the Wildcats 422 yards to 286.

Free Week 7 NCAA Football Prediction
The Texas Tech defense will allow this game to be another shootout and the offense well have to be firing on all cylinders throughout our quarters.
The Mountaineers need to keep winning to keep pace with Oklahoma and Baylor, but the West Virginia defense will have their hands full and be pushed to the limits in this one.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Texas Tech -1.5
I think the Red Raiders are to strong on offense for the Mountaineers. This game will still be close at the start of the fourth quarter, but that is when I think Texas Tech will start to pull away.
A total of 82 points may seem like a lot, but I am going over with these two offenses.
