This Friday night game will see the Washington Huskies taking on the Oregon State Beavers. Both teams are clearly out of the picture for the PAC-12 title game and now the goal will be just winning enough games to play in a bowl.
The Huskies have won seven games in a row against the Beavers, but Oregon State is improved this year and will be looking to snap this losing streak.
Washington Huskies
The Huskies season has quickly fallen apart considering they have now lost two games in a row. They are now 2-4 in the PAC-12 North Division. Their last loss came against Utah. They lost this game by a final score of 33-28.

The Huskies offense is not even that bad this season, so it is odd that they have had so many issues. They are scoring an average of 34.9 points per game, which ranks 29th in the country. There has however, been a decent drop off in scoring when they play teams from the PAC-12. They only average 28.3 points per game in their six conference games and have only scored more than 31 points twice.
The passing offense is still their strength as they are averaging 257.3 yards per game. Jacob Eason has overall played extremely well, throwing for 2,257 yards, 20 touchdowns and just 5 interceptions. Even though Eason has put this team in position to win, they have not done a good job closing out games.

One of their issues has been the lack of defense. They are allowing 22.8 points per game overall this season, but against conference foes, this number increases to 25.3 points allowed per game.
So even though their numbers are not the worst, late scores has been the downfall for this Huskies defense. If there is anything positive to take away from this side, it is their run defense. They are ranked 53rd in this area, so not the best, but still they hold opponents to under 150 yards on the ground.
Oregon State Beavers
The Beavers are coming in on a two-game winning streak that saw them beat Cal an Arizona. They are now in a great position to win two of their last four games so they can become bowl eligible.
Oregon State’s offense is their strength, which is strange to say given where this program has been. The Beavers are scoring an average of 33.6 points per game and have a passing attack that ranks in the top 50 in the country. They also have a decent rushing attack that ranks in the top half of college football, so their offense has been pretty balanced this season.
Their quarterback, Jake Luton, has played extremely well this year, throwing for 1,930 yards, 19 touchdowns and just 1 interception. He is also completing 60.8% of his passes. Isaiah Hodgins has been the breakout wide receiver for this team, and has 895 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. Hodgins is going to be a key weapon for this offense if they are going to pull the upset.
One of the reason the offense is putting up a bunch of points is because the defense cannot stop anyone. They are allowing an average of 32.4 points per game, which ranks 103rd in the country. They are the 100th ranked defense in defending the pass, allowing 253.1 yards per game.
This spells trouble against the Huskies because Eason and company are a team that loves to toss the ball around. If they can somehow get pressure on Eason, they will have a good chance to keep this game close and maybe even win outright with how their offense has been able to move the ball.

Free Week 11 NCAA Football Pick
Washington is playing for bowl eligibility this week, which makes me believe they will come out and win this game.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: OVER 65
Washington’s defense has allowed 30+ points in each of the last two games and the Oregon State cannot slow down anyone. Therefore, I like this game to be a shootout and will take the over as my pick.
