Texas A&M has slipped completely out of contention as the now #25 team in the nation takes on UTSA on Saturday.
The Aggies have dropped back to back games after being 7-1.
UTSA Roadrunners
UTSA will embark on their 3rd straight road game and the last one didn’t go according to plan.
[dfads params=’groups=220&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
The Roadrunners were dominated in every fashion against Louisiana Tech, en route to a 63-35 loss.
The loss certainly doesn’t show what kind of team UTSA is. They are just one win away from bowl eligibility and have actually played well on both sides of the ball at times.
They are putting up 31 per game which is extremely efficient, but allowing 30 points per contest has some room for improvement.

Look for UTSA to try and find WR Josh Stewart, who comes in off a superb game. Stewart had 113 yards which put him at 591 on the year. The previous record at UTSA was 578, which was held by Kam Jones back in 2011.
With the loss last week, UTSA is now eliminated from a shot at winning the conference.
#25 Texas A&M Aggies
After holding tough against #1 Alabama, the Aggies opened the BCS Playoff Rankings at #4, which a chance to still make the Playoff.
However, since then they’ve dropped back to back games and have slipped all the way to #25 in the nation now.
The Aggies are simply playing for better bowl position, as QB Jake Hubenak has taken over the reins for the injured Trevor Knight.
[dfads params=’groups=219&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
While Hubenak has been good in his small sample size, the Aggies offense just isn’t the same under him. Trevor Knight had the ability to break containment and get out to use his legs.
Hubenak just simply doesn’t have the threatening speed that Knight has, which forces the Aggies to completely change their offensive style.
Look for the Aggies to really use their ground game here and get Hubenak and the offense into some short yardage situations on third down.

4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: UTSA +27.5
This is a lot of points to lay here with a team having a new QB inserted in. Expect this to be a low scoring affair, with UTSA staying close.
