Tulane plays their third straight game at home after nearly knocking off conference foe, Navy, last week – falling 21-14.
[dfads params=’groups=220&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
They will welcome the Ragin’ Cajuns in an in-state rivalry – who have won two straight and will have to find a way to pass against a Tulane defense that has given up just 55.7 passing yards per game this season.
UL-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns
The Ragin’ Cajuns won’t have to go far for their first road game of the season as they stay in state and head to New Orleans.

They were blown out in their opener by Boise State but have won their last two over McNeese State and South Alabama.
Tulane will be a different test though – their defense has been spectacular.
Tulane is allowing just 16.3 points per game this season – due largely to their pass defense which has given up 56 passing yards per game.
UL-Lafayette will rely on Anthony Jennings – the transfer from LSU – to test that pass defense a little more. Jennings has been great thus far – a 147 passer rating in 3 games to go with 5 touchdowns on a 68 percent completion rate.
Elijah McGuire has led the grown game – rushing for 408 yards through 3 games.
They Ragin’ Cajuns will need the best from both McGuire and Jennings to get anything going against the strong Green Wave defense.
Tulane Green Wave
It has been all about the Green Wave defense this season. They limited Wake Forest to just one touchdown in the season opener and neutralized the dynamic Navy rushing attack last week – holding them to 21 points.
But, the offense has been horrendous – and that is why Tulane is 1-2.
The passing game is non-existent – 167 passing yards through 3 games.
They have relied entirely on the rushing attack – carrying over 50 times per game this season.
12 different guys have recorded a rushing attempt and all 9 of Tulane’s touchdowns have been on the ground.
[dfads params=’groups=219&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
The Green Wave will look to use that rushing attack to control the tempo and prevent Jennings from getting the Ragin’ Cajun offense.
This game will likely be slow-paced with very few big plays.

Free Week 4 NCAA Football Prediction
The nature of Tulane’s offense and the strength of their defense will likely keep this game low-scoring. I am expected UL-Lafayette to get the upset but the best bet is the under here.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Under 47.0
Jennings should do enough to get the win for the Ragin’ Cajuns and until the Green Wave form some sort of a passing attack, they are going to have a difficult time winning.
