The Ragin’ Cajuns are looking to shake off consecutive losses against Mississippi State and Coastal Carolina. With their sole win being against Grambling to open the 2018 campaign, a trip to Tuscasloosa to face the Crimson Tide is never what the doctor ordered for a struggling team.

The Crimson Tide are set to cruise to another easy victory, as they seek a 5-0 start to the 2018 season. After a smothering win for the Tide over Texas A&M last weekend, Nick Saban will have the luxury of using his entire roster in week 5.
UL Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns
Senior QB Andre Nunez won the starting job over Levi Lewis after Jordan Davis decided to leave the program. Nunez struggled in his last game and had a rather pedestrian performance against Grambling to open the season. He did, however, have a decent outing against Mississippi State, going 21 for 29 against an SEC defense, albeit a 56 – 10 defeat.
The Cajuns’ issues pertain to being unable to stop the opponent’s run game. Coastal Carolina racked up 331 yards on 56 carries en route to taking down Louisiana 30 – 28 last weekend. Through week 4 of the NCAA football season, the Ragin’ Cajuns are ranked 125th against the run.
There have been some bright spots we can find for UL Lafayette this year, but we all know that Alabama is a completely different animal. The Cajuns are getting little respect from the line setters, listed as +49 point underdogs on the early line.

Alabama Crimson Tide
In case you hadn’t heard, Alabama is pretty good. I mean, where do I even start when it comes to what this team can do? Now let’s throw in the fact that they do it week in and week out against every team put in front of them.
Tua Tagovailoa has obviously cemented his starting role as the Crimson Tide signal caller, and I don’t think anyone has any complaints in Tuscaloosa. The Hawaiian native out of Ewa Beach has already amassed over 1,000 passing yards to go along with his 12 TD / 0 INT ratio.
Keep in mind, he also had 11 TD passes last season, on top of what he did in that spectacular second half of the title game.

Does anyone else get a little chuckle when they see another sign that says ‘We Want Bama’? So you think you want to test your team’s talent against Nick Saban and his cast of characters in a big game?
The question is obvious in this situation, and it all comes down to what type effort the #1 team in the land wants to put out against a visiting Sun Belt squad. Sure, we had our Troy / Nebraska moment this year, but they don’t grow corn in Alabama; They Roll Tide!

Free Week 5 NCAA Football Pick
The attention will turn towards the total, as the prediction will be that Alabama will not be slowed down at all. Some may think that Nick Saban can tell his team to take it easy this weekend, but coaches don’t do that! When the lights are on and the crowd in Tuscaloosa has the building charged up, it’s time to go play football.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Louisiana vs Alabama Game Total Over 65
Touchdown, Alabama! Touchdown, Tide! And before you know it, we will be watching the barn burn. I am not of the faith that Alabama and Nick Saban have any interest in letting a struggling Sun Belt team change the Alabama approach to the 2018 campaign.
Louisiana is next on the schedule, and that is simply not good for anything with Cajun seasoning on it. Look towards the total for a play from this contest in Tuscaloosa Alabama. Roll Tide!
