From one high powered offense to another, the Kansas Jayhawks welcome in another high flying attack when they take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday.
Kansas was trounced from the opening kickoff against the Baylor Bears last week and lost 66-7 when it was all said and done.

Texas Tech did the same thing to Iowa State that Baylor did to Kansas as they blew them away with their high power offense.
Texas Tech
The Red Raiders offense can compete with the best in the Big 12, there is no doubt about that.
Texas Tech had dropped a heart breaker to TCU and followed that up with a disappointing beatdown from Baylor, but responded and even took out some frustrations last week against Iowa State.
The Red Raiders put up 66 point in the showing, which is just above their season average of 52.7.

As usual, the Red Raiders offense was firing on all cylinders. QB Patrick Mahomes threw for 428 yards and 5 touchdowns in the win. On the season, Mahomes has thrown for 2264 yards to go along with 19 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.
With their offense and poor defense, the Red Raiders have played to the Over 5 times and Under just once. They’ve also been a solid bet for Texas Tech backers as they are 4-1-1 ATS.
Kansas
The Jayhawks have been pretty much abysmal all season long. On both sides of the ball, Kansas is either struggling to move the ball or allowing the opposition to run up and down the field on them.
That was the case last Saturday as Baylor racked up 66 points and to be fair, it could have been a lot more. Kansas got a garbage touchdown, but that was all they could produce.

Kansas has lost 4 of their 5 games by multiple touchdowns and that stems from their play at the QB position.
QB Ryan Willis finished with just 158 yards on 20 of 36 passing last week. He did throw for the 1 touchdown, but also threw a pick in the contest. Willis had 5 rushes for -15 yards as well.
As a team, the Jayhawks rushed for just 69 yards on 39 carries.

Kansas is just bad. Their defense makes the Red Raiders’ defense actually look good. That being said, Texas Tech should do something similar to what Baylor did last week to them.
