MWC action gets going early in the season when the San Jose State Spartans take on the Air Force Falcons in Colorado on Saturday night.
Both teams come in fresh off a Week 1 victory and will look to race out to an early MWC lead.

The San Jose State Spartans took out New Hampshire in Week 1 with a lopsided 43-13 win.
As for the home team, Air Force, the Falcons knocked around Morgan State en route to a 63-7 win.

The Spartans ground game was the story of the game as they ran for 285 yards and a had pair of dominating backs in the contest. RB Tyler Ervin rushed 20 times and accounted for 127 yards and three touchdowns.
As for his tandem partner, Thomas Tucker ran the ball 19 times and had 2 touchdowns to his name.
Air Force
The Falcons had little problems themselves as they kicked off their 2015 season with a dominating performance against Morgan State.
Air Forced racked up 513 yards and a majority of that came from their rushing attack and the triple option.

For starters, the Falcons had 16 different players with at least 1 rushing attempt in the game. Leading the way for the Falcons was DJ Johnson and Benton Washington who combined for nearly 150 yards on the ground. Both players recorded a touchdown.
As for the passing attack, Air Force needed or used, whichever you want to call it, a very small dosage as Nate Romine went 4 of 7 for 119 yards and 1 touchdown.
