This week 11 matchup will see the Northwestern Wildcats hosting the Purdue Boilermakers. Purdue enters the game as a 1.5 point favorite with the total set at 40.5 points.
The Boilermakers will be without Jack Plummer who injured his ankle. Aidan O’Connell will get the call at quarterback. King Doerue (360 rushing yards) might be asked to do more with the injury to Plummer.

The Boilermakers are coming off a 31-27 win against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. O’Connell came in to backup Plummer late in the contest. The backup went for 62 passing yards on 6/7 completions. Plummer had gone for 242 passing yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Plummer also had 61 rushing yards in the win.
King Doerue led the Boilermakers ground game with 71 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Brycen Hopkins wound up with 97 receiving yards on eight catches. Milton Wright added 69 yards on four catches.
Purdue’s rush defense was magnificent as they allowed 128 yards on 3.7 yards per carry. Cory Trice had an interception while Ben Holt led the defense with 10 tackles in the victory.
The Wildcats are coming off a 34-3 loss against the Indiana Hoosiers. Northwestern’s offense struggled all contest as they ended with 199 yards of total offense. Hunter Johnson (65 yards), and Aidan Smith (47 yards) both had games to forget at quarterback.
Aidan Smith led the Wildcats struggling rush offense with 34 yards on six carries. Northwestern had trouble containing 116 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Ramaud Chiaokhiao-Bowman led the team with 43 receiving yards. Blake Gallagher led the Wildcats with 11 tackles in the loss. The defense had no answer for Stevie Scott III who led Indiana with 116 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
