On Saturday afternoon the Portland State Vikings dominated division 2 Simon Fraser Clan 70-7.

Simon Fraser scored the first touchdown of the game before the Vikings scored the next 70 points. Davis Alexander had a big game for Portland State with 292 passing yards and three touchdowns.
The Vikings ground attack was led by Dante Chachere who had 65 yards and two touchdowns. Carlos Martin (55 yards), and Evyn Holtz (54 yards) also contributed with the rushing game.
Receivers Mataio Talelemotu (132 yards, td), and Davis Koetter (107 yards, 2 tds) had massive performances for Portland State.
It wasn’t all pretty for the Vikings who had three fumbles in the contest. Portland State out-gained Simon Fraser 646-113 in total yards.

Boise State is coming off 14-7 win against the Marshall Thundering Herd last Friday.

Marshall never had much of a shot to even tie the game at the end. After Boise State forced an interception with just under eight minutes to play, they ended the game with a beautiful 15-play drive that ran the clock out.
Hank Bachhmeir had 282 passing yards, a touchdown, and an interception for the Broncos in the win. The signal-caller added 26 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground.
George Holani led the Broncos with 103 rushing yards on 22 carries. Big things are expected from the freshman running back who has 173 over the first two games.
Khalil Shakir led the Broncos with 95 receiving yards on five receptions, and John Bates added 63 yards. The Broncos defense did a great job in containing Marshall signal-caller Isaiah Green to 56 passing yards.
The Broncos defense was led by Kekoa Nawahine who had an interception and a tackle for a loss.
Curtis Weaver had six tackles and a sack in the win.
NCAA Football Handicapping Trends

Free Week 3 NCAA Football Pick
Boise State has a capable offense with Bachhmeir and Holani leading the way. I expect them to have their way against a mediocre Vikings team. Don’t be surprised if Holani goes for 150 yards here.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Boise State -31.5
Look for the Broncos defense to force a few turnovers from Vikings signal-caller Davis Alexander. Take the Broncos in what should be a blowout by the end of the first half. The Vikings won’t score more than a few times in this one.
