This is not g0ing to be a season to remember for the Rebels.
They are in danger of missing a bowl game and it will not be easy getting the two wins they need when you look at their schedule and the fact that they are missing their entire offense with their starting QB out for the season.

The Aggies were a surprise in the Top 4 for the playoffs a couple of weeks ago but that second loss means their season is more likely to end on New Year’s Day.
They also will be playing without their starting quarterback but they have more depth in support, especially on defense.
Ole Miss Rebels
The Rebels need two wins in their final three games to catch a bowl game. It is possible but it does not look very likely.
This team got back to winning last week but beating Georgia Southern is hardly impressive and they didn’t even cover in the ball game – four straight they lost against the spread.
The one thing they have been able to do all season long was throw the ball but now with Chad Kelly out even that might be a challenge. Jason Pellerin, a freshman has seen little action this year and he threw a pick last week.

The Rebels have had one of the best defenses in the SEC the last couple of seasons.
This year it has been far from the case.
They are giving up more than 30ppg and without that defense it is going to be very hard for them down the stretch of this season.
I don’t want to be all doom and gloom but it looks like the relevance of the Rebels may be coming to a close.
Texas A&M Aggies
They were a longshot to make the playoffs but I think that ship has definitely sailed in College Station.
Losing last week at Mississippi State was a disappointment and losing quarterback sealed the deal as Aggies are likely to be a running and defense team the rest of the way.
Luckily their run game and defense are good enough to carry them this week and next and likely at home against LSU to close the season. A&M has not been the same team they were early in the season.
They have not covered in their last 5.

A&M has pretty good defensive numbers but they were built up early in the schedule.
Over the last few weeks they have given up over 30ppg to all of their SEC opponents despite the fact that Myles Garrett, their terrific rush end might wind up being the top pick in the NFL Draft in the spring.
This is definitely an offense they can handle though. I expect them to perform, especially getting after an inexperienced QB.

Free Week 11 NCAA Football Prediction
The QB situation has this one off the boards at the moment but if you look at these teams beyond that there is no doubt that the Aggies should be favoured at home. I think once this one finally gets put on the board they will be in the -7 to -10 range.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Aggies -10.5
The Aggies have a better reserve QB situation than Ole Miss and are the better team overall. I expect this will be obvious in this one.
I can see no reason why the Rebels will suddenly break out of their funk on the road. In fact the more I think about it that line might be something like -14 or more.
