Week one saw the Washington Huskies fall to Auburn, in what was supposed to be neutral territory, down in Georgia, which knocked the Huskies down a few notches in the polls. Now sitting at number 9 in the country, the Dawgs look to bounce back against the North Dakota Fighting Hawks.

North Dakota is coming off a decisive week one victory over Mississippi Valley State, beating the Delta Devils by a score of 35-7. But Washington is no MVS, and the Fighting Hawks will have to step up their game a bit more for this one.

Riding the arm of transfer QB Nate Ketteringham in week one, the Fighting Hawks racked up a total of 518 yards against Mississippi Valley State.

Ketteringham accounted for four TD’s in week 1, three through the air, and he added a short 2-yard rushing TD to the scoring book as well.

Despite the high powered offense in week one, fans of the Fighting Hawks should not assume to see the same output in week two against the Washington Huskies.

That week one matchup vs. Auburn was a tough pill to swallow for the Husky faithful. Washington is still alive in the playoff picture, but their percentage chances dropped a whole lot with that loss. The loss also dropped them three spots in the polls, going from number 6 to number 9.

The offensive line seemed to get weaker as the game went on, this especially showed on their last possession, when QB Jake Browning was pressured on every drop back.

Chris Petersen should have his team ready to go this week, expect a completely different team out there on Saturday. Of course North Dakota is no Auburn, but the Huskies should look like their former selves again.
