There was talk of Mizzou being a real thorn for teams and the system this season but that hasn’t come to fruition. They are just a decent possibly good SEC team.
Georgia still has hope of a scenario where they get into the playoffs but they need a lot of help at this point.
The Bulldogs are coming off the “Cocktail” so there could be a letdown on Saturday. They can’t afford it, even in victory.
Mizzou has lost their last two, to Vanderbilt and Kentucky, both on the road. This is their third road game in a row which is rare, but they did have an off week.
The offense has completely dried up scoring just 21 points combined in those two losses. Prior to that they had scored at least 31 points in every game this season.
Kelly Bryant has been good but not great this season. He is questionable for this one and if he is out that will really hurt them because he is such a good athlete.
The running game featuring Larry Rountree III has been good. They need to find some way to penetrate a strong Georgia defense and it might be by coming right at them.
The Mizzou defense has been really good too, 11th in yards allowed and giving up just 18ppg. Are they going to be willing to keep fighting it out though with so little to play for.
Georgia still has a path to playoffs, just keep winning, including beating whoever the West puts in front of them in the SEC title game. They can’t take Mizzou lightly though with a visit to Auburn on deck.
Jake Fromm had his best game of the season last week in beating the Gators. That is a really good defense and he completed two thirds of his passes with 2 scores and no interceptions. His only bad game this season, they lost.
Speedy running back D’Andre Swift is giving them great balance on offense. He can take any carry to the house and will be looking to do so after being bottled up by the Gators last week.
Georgia is fourth in the nation in scoring defense, only allowing 11ppg. They have not given up more than 20 points in a home game this season. That total of 20 was only reached by South Carolina in their lone loss. This is a really good group on defense again.

Georgia obviously wants a mulligan for its loss to South Carolina. This program has been so consistent under Kirby Smart though I doubt they will need another one.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Georgia -17
This is a big spread for such a low total but I expect the Dawgs to dominate. Fromm should be feeling good while Mizzou has some concerns at the position.
The key for this one is getting off to a more explosive start. I would love to see UGA get up 14-0 and go from there rather than sweat things out late in the game.
