Florida State might be the one undefeated team that nobody is talking about. Louisville looks like it will be a relatively minor obstacle.

I was high on the Cardinals in the preseason but things didn’t go well early and they are still digging out of that hole.
Louisville
The Cardinals got up off the mat in the last two weeks with a win over FCS Samford and at NC State. Their only loss in the ACC is against Clemson so perhaps they could get in the race with a win this week.
It seems that for now Lamar Jackson is going to be the QB.
He is a run pass threat and it will be interesting to see if the QB whisperer Bobby Petrino can fine tune his throwing game. In this one his athleticism will be an asset.

As expected the defense has been good this season. Charlie Strong may be on the hot seat at Texas but his legacy on defense is still being felt here.
They are going to have to be solid in this one to have any chance of winning.
I really thought that Louisville could be a sleeper in the ACC this season. That was predicated on them winning at least one of their games against Clemson or FSU.
So far they are 0-1 in that pursuit and this is their final chance.
Last year they neither won or covered against the Noles.
Florida State
As stated above the Seminoles are the one undefeated team not being given much consideration right now.
They also might be the one with the greatest chances of finishing undefeated too.
People just don’t think they are that great this season.
If you use the spread as a barometer you can see why, they are just 2-3 ATS after last week’s spread loss to Miami. They still have three tough road games against GT, Clemson and Florida so looking ahead could be a problem.

Thanks to RB Dalvin Cook the Noles have had great balance on offense this season. Transfer QB Everett Golson has been only OK, he is certainly not setting the league on fire like Russell Wilson did at Wisconsin.
The defense is strong as usual. They are 10th in the nation in points allowed at 14ppg and are going to make it very tough for the Cardinals to move the ball.

Beating the Noles on the road is tough to do and I am sold the Cardinals are going to have enough going on offensively to keep this one tight.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Florida State ATS
I am not loving on this FSU team but they are getting the job done in terms of winning. Covering by a score looks pretty good.
