Conference USA vs MAC here and CUSA is coming in hot as a road favourite. Thus is the state of the Bowling Green program at the moment.
Those uniforms were tolerable when the onfield product was alright but without that it is a bit hard to take.
Lousiana Tech always has a strong offensive team and that should win the day in this one.
Louisiana Tech Bulldogs
La. Tech lost their opener at Texas…it was to be expected but we were also expecting more of a bounce back against Grambling. They barely won, 20-14, with the offense really struggling.

J’Mar Smith is a senior QB who has gotten better every season. Through a couple of games his completion percentage is up but he has been nearly the entire offense.
The Bulldogs need more from their ground game. Its not that you can’t win by flinging it around the Smith has been prone to mistakes in the past.
The defense is always the weak link for Louisiana Tech. I am not looking hard at the Texas results because that was a mismatch. I am concerned with the 200+ yards they gave up on the ground to Grambling and that they were outgained.

This game is on the road but hardly a fearsome environment. Maybe Grambling was a wake up call they needed.
Bowling Green Falcons
Bowling Green dominated in their opener against Morgan State but were stomped last week, losing to K-State 52-0. Now they are home dogs so things are not looking great for the Falcons.
The results have been so different that it hard to put a ton of value on the stats so far. They just need to be better, simple as that.
QB Darius Wade is a transfer from Boston College. He needs to have more success than he did against the Wildcats who are sound but not elite on defense. La. Tech is not as stout.
There should be a little desperation in this one. Looking at the schedule if the Falcons do not get this one it might be November before they have a good shot at a win. That could put the program on the hot seat.

Free Week 3 NCAA Football Pick
Still a lot of unknown to these teams. Based on preseason probably Louisiana Tech has performed more below expectations.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Louisiana Tech -10
Make sure to get a good number here. There are some 10.5s out there and obviously the hook can mean a lot. Especially when a home dog is unlikely to roll over.
I think that passing offense for the Bulldogs will be the best unit on the field and make the difference needed to get this cover.
