Kansas got the most surprising win of last weekend when they beat Texas in overtime.
The fallout was tremendous for Texas but in this one we get to see if they can parlay that into some momentum facing state rival Kansas State.
Can they keep the faithful from talking hoops for another Saturday?

Kansas State is having its usual solid season. They never recruit that great but they never embarrass themselves either.
They are coming off a nice over Baylor and are looking for their eighth straight against Kansas. All of the previous seven have been covers too.
Kansas Jayhawks
Last week’s win against Texas a huge one. Not only had they not beaten the Longhorns in forever but they hadn’t even won a B12 game in almost just as long it seemed.
I am not predicting a Kansas renaissance but the first step forward is to stop being the but of the conference joke. Freshman QB Carter Stanley seems to be getting more comfortable in game situations.
He is still filling in for the athletic Montell Cozart who is dealing with concussions. With new found confidence the Jayhawks might be able to stay with KSU.

The offense barely got it done last week and the defense is no better giving up 37ppg.
They have had their moments though as that Texas team is a pretty potent group, so is TCU and they held them to just 24 points in a one point loss.
Kansas has not won a road game all season and they have only covered in one.
This is their final game of the season and they are riding high so they are unlikely to phone it in.
Kansas State Wildcats
K-State has had another good season. They lost by only a point at West Virginia on the road and have been in every conference game this season save Oklahoma.
In Jesse Ertz they have found their next do everything quarterback as he leads the team in passing and rushing, he just isn’t Collin Klein.
However, his highest yardage game was against Stanford, which was the best defense the Wildcats have plated all season. Even though he has no had big numbers facing the Jayhawks could pump him up.

The defense is of the bend but don’t break variety and is only giving up 23ppg.
They might not have been in that Oklahoma game but they only gave up 38 points, a TD below the Sooners average.
KSU is strong against the run but terrible against the pass. Kansas doesn’t really have a strength in either area so I expect this group to be strong on Saturday.

Free Week 13 NCAA Football Prediction
Kansas has all the momentum but will they know what to do with it.
They are on the road which is a totally different animal and even though you don’t have to go back to the 1930s, nobody on this squad has any experience beating K-State.
It’s a big number but you can see how they got there.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Kansas State -27
K-State actually has another game after this one so they can’t quite be on holidays just yet.
This qualifies as a rivalry game but there is such an imbalance between the success levels of the program the Wildcats might not view it that way. Still they have gotten up for this one to win and cover on an impressive run.
It can continue.
