This Saturday will see an SEC East showdown as the Georgia Bulldogs head north to Lexington to take on the Kentucky Wildcats.
The Georgia-Kentucky game usually has some levels of significance in the division, but the roles between the two teams are normally reversed.

Georgia has been disappointing, to say the least, so far in 2016.
They have lost four of their last five games and currently find themselves in 4th place in the division.
The Wildcats have been on the other end of the spectrum, winning three in a row, all three against SEC opponents. Kentucky is now in 2nd place in the SEC East.
Georgia Bulldogs
The Bulldogs had an impressive start to the year, winning their first three games and moving into the top 10 in the AP poll.
Things took a turn after that point, and they were demolished at Ole Miss 45-14 in Week 4.
Since then, they have only one victory, a 28-14 win over South Carolina in Columbia. Probably their lowest point of the year was falling to Vanderbilt at home 17-16. Florida handled them last week in Jacksonville 24-10.

Georgia has a talented freshman quarterback in Jacob Eason leading the offense.
Eason has thrown for 1,509 yards with 10 touchdowns and five interceptions.
Bell-cow running back Nick Chubb has battled injuries and under-performed so far this year, running for 606 yards and five touchdowns.
They only score 23.3 points per game, which is 105th in CFB.
Kentucky Wildcats
The Wildcats have been the surprise team in the SEC East so far this year. Things started in typical Kentucky fashion as they lost their first two games, but they have since come to life.
The Wildcats have won three in a row and are 4-2 in the conference. Although they would need help to have a realistic shot at the championship game, this is much closer than they normally are at this point of the season.

The Wildcats run the ball and the run the ball and run the ball more.
They are led by a dynamic duo of backs in Stanley Williams and Benny Snell Jr. Williams leads the Wildcats with 821 rushing yards and Snell is not to far behind, racking up 661 yards.
Quarterback Stephen Johnson has been efficient enough to help them win with 1,128 yards with seven touchdowns and (most importantly) only three interceptions.
The defense is another story, allowing 30.9 points per game which is 91st in the nation.

Free Week 10 NCAA Football Prediction
Much of the numbers are in the Wildcats’ favor for an upset coming into this one.
They’re second in the division and won three in a row.
They’re also 5-0 ATS in their last 5. But I don’t see it happening. Georgia has been God-awful this year when compared to their usual standard, but they are held to much higher standards than Kentucky.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Georgia -3
Although their seasons seem very different, only one loss separates these two teams. Aside from Vandy, their losses have all been to very good teams (Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida).
Kentucky’s best victories this year have been against Mississippi State and South Carolina. They may be good enough to keep up the winning ways this year, but Georgia undoubtedly has more talent.
