Virginia Tech looks to get back to the .500 mark when they take on the Duke Blue Devils in an ACC clash.
The Hokies come in off a 30-20 loss to Miami FL, but will get a major boost with Michael Brewer returning under center.

Duke comes in off a route of Army 44-3 back on October 10th and has jumped into the Top 25 at 21.
Duke
The Blue Devils lone loss this year has come at the hands of Northwestern and that loss looks even worse now that the Wildcats have dropped 2 in a row.
Still, their 1 loss has found them as a Top 25 team and after a bye week come into a big ACC clash.

Duke is getting the job done thanks in large part to their defense. They sit tied with Michigan for the least amount of points allowed per game with just 9.3 against. Overall, they’ve allowed just 56 points on the season, which is the best in the nation.
Offensively, they go as Thomas Sirk goes. Sirk brings in a 62% completion rating and has 7 touchdowns to 3 interceptions. He’s also shown off his dual threat ability as he’s rushed for 325 yards on the season.
The Blue Devils have won 5 straight road contests and come into this one as slim underdogs despite their Top 25 ranking.
Virginia Tech
The 3-4 Hokies are in trouble. They’ll get their first break in quite some time as QB Michael Brewer returns after breaking his collarbone in Week 1 against Ohio State.
Michael Brewer got the rust off last week as he replaced Brendan Motley in the 4th quarter of the team’s 30-20 loss. Brewer completed 3 of 4 passes for 65 yards. In just 4 pass attempts, he experienced a lot of action as he threw for a touchdown and also threw an interception.

Brewer had Virginia Tech right in there with #1 Ohio State on the opening week of the season as he had thrown for 156 yards on 11 of 16 with 2 touchdowns before going down.
His main target out wide, Isaiah Ford leads the team with 32 receptions for 497 yards and 7 touchdowns.
Virginia Tech leads the head-to-head series with Duke 14-8. They’ve won 10 of the last 11 meetings.
