This week seven matchup will see the Colorado Buffaloes taking on the Oregon Ducks.
This is a very important game for the Ducks because a win would put them well above any other team in the PAC-12 North division. Same goes for Colorado. They are 1-1 in the PAC-12 South division and cannot afford anymore losses if they want a chance to play in the PAC-12 title game.

These teams last met in 2016. This game ended in a 41-38 win for Colorado. This game was also played in Eugene, so the Ducks will be looking for a little revenge this time around.
Colorado Buffaloes
The Buffaloes just lost to Arizona 35-30, digging themselves a hole in the South division. They will now have to win out and hope Arizona loses two conference games for them to have a shot at the PAC-12 Championship.
The Buffaloes gained 496 yards of offense, so that was not the glaring issue. They are now 41st in the country, averaging 441 yards per game. Their passing offense is by far superior, as they average 300.2 yards through the air per game. This is ranked 23rd in the country.
The defense for the Buffaloes is where they have had their biggest issues. They are allowing 471.6 yards per game this season. That is 116th in college football. They specifically allow 313.6 yards passing per game, ranking 124th in the FBS. Even their rushing defense ranks 69th, allowing 158 yards per game on the ground.
In the game against the Wildcats, the Buffaloes allowed 404 passing yards. It was Khalil Tate who did this to them, so if they play this poorly again, Justin Herbert is going to have a field day throwing the ball.
The only way the Buffaloes will have a chance is if their secondary can make some plays. Otherwise, this game could get out of hand very quickly like most expect it to
Oregon Ducks
The Ducks squeaked out a 17-7 win over Cal last weekend to push their winning streak to four-games. They are also 2-0 in the PAC-12 North and have the chance to completely take over the division with their third conference win.

No doubt last week was a struggle as the Ducks managed 404 total yards. Their average yards per game is 447.8, so they seemed to have an off game of sorts.
The Ducks did absolutely nothing in the first half, trailing 7-0, but quickly got back on track and scored 17 unanswered points.
Justin Herbert had a below average game, throwing for 214 yards with one touchdown, but also one interception. He should have much more success against the Buffaloes after seeing what their pass defense allowed to Arizona.
A big positive for the Ducks was their ground game. They ran the ball 40 times against the Golden Bears for 190 yards. If they can establish the run game against the Buffaloes, look for the Ducks to be scoring a lot of points.
The defense for the Ducks has been outstanding this year. The PAC-12 is not always known for their ability to play defense, but the Ducks have shattered this stereotype. They allowed just 256 yards total to the Golden Bears, but just 66 on the ground.
They are now allowing just 9.8 points per game, ranking 6th in the country. They are also 7th in total yards allowed per game, 9th in passing yards allowed per game and 16th in rushing yards allowed per game.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the Ducks are allowing are allowing just 5.3 points per game when they play at home, so to think Colorado can hang with Oregon is a little far fetched.

Free Week 7 NCAA Football Pick
Oregon is looking for another big conference win and I believe they will blow out the Buffaloes on a Friday night.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: UNDER 57.5
This total feels way too high and I am all over the under. The Ducks defense is too good this season and I believe they will shut down the Colorado offense completely. As for the offense of Oregon, they are sure to have a great game, but this number is too high to cover by themselves in a conference game.
