Penn State already has enough problems to deal with as they welcome in the Buffalo Bulls of the MAC here in Week 2 of the College Football season.
The Nittany Lions traveled into Temple and were simply dominated from the opening kickoff as they dropped their opening game of the season.

Buffalo demolished Albany from the outset as they rolled right over them 51-14 in Week 1.
Even though Penn State’s loss to Temple can arguably be the worst one in school history, that hasn’t stopped bettors from pouring money on the Nittany Lions here. The game opened at 16.5 in favor of Penn State, but has since moved up to 20.5.
Kickoff is set for high noon on Saturday.
Buffalo
Buffalo showed a very impressive offensive balance in their Week 1 win over Albany as the Bulls ran off 24 unanswered points after a very quick Albany touchdown.
QB Joe Licata went 20 for 26 in his season debut and threw for 246 yards and two touchdowns.
RB Anthone Taylor rushed for 104 yards himself and scored 2 touchdowns on 17 carries. As a team, Buffalo rushed for 212 yards total.

While the Week 1 performance came against a weak Albany team, it has to be encouraging for the Bulls to play that well considering their trends in 2014. Buffalo averaged 32.3 points, but allowed 31.5 against. The Bulls typically found themselves in the midst of scoring enough to win, but watching their defense blow leads late.
The good balance between the run and pass was a nice sight to see as that was the recipe for success in 2014 for Buffalo. Last year they rushed for an average of 178.6 and threw for 259.5
Penn State
Things couldn’t have started off any worse for Penn State in 2015. The Nittany Lions went into Temple and lost to the Owls for the first time in 74 years.
The game featured extremely sloppy play and many missed blocking assignments, along with bad tackling from the defensive side of the ball.
QB Christian Hackenberg was sacked a ridiculous 10 times in the game for starters. Hackenberg ended up throwing for just 103 yards and a lone touchdown in the loss.
RB Akeel Lynch turned in just 78 yards and rushed for a TD.

The sloppy play turned in resulted in very few lanes for Lynch to run through, constant pressure on Hackenberg, and just 180 yards of total offense for Penn State.
Penn State won the last head-to-head matchup back in 2007 when they defeated Buffalo 45-24.

Free Week 2 NCAA Football Prediction
This game raises some eye brows here. Penn State looked abysmal against Temple and yet they come in laying nearly 3 touchdowns. It’s a given James Franklin will certainly have his troops 100% prepared here, but laying that many points with such a questionable team is tough.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Buffalo ATS
Penn State plays much better than Week 1, but still will certainly struggle to cover the number here.
