Neither of these teams are SEC elite but their station could be determined by this game. A loss means they might be last in the SEC West.
These program also have in common that we are just not sure what they really are. Are they contenders or programs whose history suggests they could be?
Arkansas Razorbacks
The Hogs has last week off after a disappointing loss to TCU. So far through a couple of game we have not seen much from this club on the field and it seems like they are struggling with their identity.

Over the course of the Bret Bielema era they have become less of a run hungry team. They have been able to put up some numbers through the air but I am not sure they can really compete by trying to be like everybody else.
This will be a “neutral” site contest as I think they are trying to build the rivalry between these two former Southwest Conference programs. Arkansas has not beaten the Aggies since 2011.
Texas A&M Aggies
The Aggies week one loss to UCLA was one of the great collapses in college football history.

Since then they have won but they struggled against Nicholls and were losing at the half against Lafayette.
You have to wonder how much rope Kevin Sumlin has left.
Though it might be by default the Aggies seem to have settled on Kellen Mond at QB. He has some really good physical tool but is just a freshman.
He may develop over time but will not give the Aggies efficiency this season.
The defense has been good against the run but has been getting torched through the air. Losing top talent to the NFL has really hurt.

When you give any opponent lots of time to survey the field they are going to make some connections.

Free Week 4 NCAA Football Pick
This is one of those games that reminds you it is OK to take a pass. Getting a bead on either of these teams is very difficult.
4* Free NCAA Betting Pick: Texas A&M -2.5
Normally if you had a top running team against a good rush defense you would say whoever wins that battle will win the war. For this one I am not sure what are the true determining factors.
I think it is going to come down to explosive plays and Texas A&M is more likely to push the envelope to make those happen. Or this game might be super boring.
