USC is far from perfect but they are one of the most talented teams in the country. Every win keeps them in the division race.

Arizona has lost the last two games and fell out of the race. They are reeling and this is going to be a tough spot.
Arizona
The Wildcats were supposed to be a dark horse candidate in the South this year. They won the division last year and might have been even better this season. Things have not panned out that way.

One of the biggest factors has been that they have been without Scooby Wright most of the season. Last year he was one of the most disruptive players in the country but this year he has been a nonfactor. Their defense was not fantastic with him, without him it has been pretty terrible.
Also, Arizona was hoping for incremental improvement from sophomore quarterback Anu Solomon. Some of his stats are showing that but in terms of total production he is not what he was a year ago. It is not a good sign for his development to wane like that.
The Wildcats are not looking great heading into this one.
USC
There seems to be an odd trend emerging of the Trojans finding their stride while being led by interim coaches. Or it could be the fact that sooner or later talent wins. Either way they have a good shot of sweeping their remaining games.
The Trojans are better than Arizona in every phase of the game and it should show on Saturday night. Last year Buck Allen rushed for more than 200 yards against the Wildcats and something like that could happen again.

USC is coming off of solid defensive outings against Utah and Cal. Arizona can be a productive offensive team but the Trojans will be able to handle their diverse attack. All of the best defensive playmakers are on the USC side of the field in this one.
USC is looking to finish strong the way they did last season. They have the talent and maybe they have the right coach in place too. Either way this week should be a win.

I like the Trojans to win of course but the big number is a little scary. You never know how hard they will push to close an easy win.
