2017 Georgia Bulldogs Predictions: Team Strengths
Experience for Eason: Quarterback Jacob Eason was one of the most-hyped recruits in the last few years for Georgia, but he may have been thrown into the fire too quickly last season.

The five-star recruit with the great arm started all of last season as a true freshman and showed flashes of what is to come.
With one season’s worth of experience under his belt, he is poised to lead the Bulldogs well this season.
Luckily, he will have lots of help as both running backs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel are returning for another year.
Strong D: While Eason and the running game should show some meaningful improvement in 2017, it is the Georgia defense that will lead them to victory.

The Bulldogs D ranked in the top 20 in both total yards allowed per game and passing yards allowed per game, and almost all of those starters will return this year.
2017 Georgia Bulldogs Predictions: Team Weaknesses
Who Will Catch It?: Most experts expect great strides for quarterback Jacob Eason in his second season, but he will need someone to throw the ball to in order to have meaningful improvement.
The Bulldogs’ best wide receiver (and their most dynamic offensive weapon) Isaiah McKenzie is off to the NFL, and no one has stepped up to impress so far to replace him.
The Georgia offensive line is another question mark, and it is unclear what we can expect from them this season. They have two great running backs and a quarterback with great potential, but the supporting cast will need to step into place for it to all come together.
Georgia Bulldogs Prediction: 9-3
Everyone expects great things out of the Bulldogs this year, and for good reason. However, anyone who is predicting 10 wins and a dominant force in the SEC East should remember the preseason expectations for Tennessee last year.
Georgia has some tough road tests against Notre Dame and Tennessee in September and another one against Auburn the next month. The Florida game is always contentious, but they have lost the last three to the Gators.

Pump the brakes on any CFB Playoffs hopes this year, but they will certainly improve and are headed in the right direction. Although they may not win double-digit games in the regular season, they may not have to in order to win the East.
