WHERE EACH TEAM STANDS HEADING INTO WEEK 16
Week 15 is in the books – the NFL playoff picture is certainly starting to take shape! Last week’s slate of games were interesting to say the least – the Panthers/Giants tilt and the Broncos/Steelers tilts were definitely not short on suspense! The cream has definitely risen to the top as we near the end of the 2015 season – there are few surprises in the top 10.

So where does your favorite team sit heading into Week 16? Let’s take a look.
1. Carolina Panthers
(14-0) Last Week – 1
If Carolina’s Week 15 thriller against the G-Men proved anything – it is the fact that the Panthers can win any type of game – defensive battles, offensive shootouts and emotional games with momentum swings! Cam Newton is on a different level – he has five TD passes in two of his last three starts – he rushed for 100 yards on Sunday as well. With Newton at the helm the Panthers look like a team of destiny – an easy #1 this week!

2. Arizona Cardinals
(12-2) Last Week – 2
We all knew that Arizona’s passing game was off the charts but how about the emerging running game? David Johnson rumbled for 187 yards against the Eagles and 3 TDs and gained another 42 yards receiving – impressive indeed. Of concern is the loss of Tyrann Mathieu for the season – the Honey Badger has been a rock on the defense and will be sorely misses. But for now the Cards are easily the second best team in the NFL.
3. New England Patriots
(11-2) Last Week – 3
The Patriots really weren’t challenged in Week 15 as they beat down the Titans. New England earned a first round bye with their win which assures that a few of their offensive Studs will have an extra week to heel! Imagine what this team will be able to do when they are fully healthy!
4. Seattle Seahawks
(9-5) Last Week – 4
The Seahawks are a scary, scary team. Not only has their defense found their groove but the offense is better than they ever have been – by a mile! Seattle heads into Week 16 on a five game win streak – Russell Wilson has been over 70% passing in all of those games, he has at least 3 TDs in each of the last five games and Doug Baldwin has an astounding 11 TDs during the streak. Seattle is surging – watch out NFL!
5. Green Bay Packers
(10-4) Last Week – 5
The Packers still haven’t put together a complete game but they are still winning! I’m not sure about Green Bay on the road in the playoffs but at 10-4 they are a deserving top 5 team – for now!

6. Kansas City Chiefs
(9-5) Last Week – 8
The Chiefs won their eighth straight game on Sunday and are officially the second hottest team in the NFL. They didn’t play their best game on Sunday but they still look like one of the most well-rounded teams in the league. KC has Cleveland and Oakland left on the schedule – they should be 11-5 and be entering the playoffs on a 10 game win streak – impressive!
7. Cincinnati Bengals
(11-3) Last Week 7
The Bengals had the pleasure of playing the 49ers this week. Cinci was OK but definitely not the same without Andy Dalton at the helm. Still, at 11-3 and with the weapons they have on offense and defense the Bengals are a top 10 team. Ask me what I think once the playoffs start though!
8. Pittsburgh Steelers
(9-5) Last Week – 9
The Steelers absolutely decimated the best pass defense in the NFL on Sunday in their beat-down of the Denver Broncos. Antonio Brown has been remarkable as has Ben Roethlisberger – the Steelers offense looks absolutely unstoppable right now!
9. Denver Broncos
(10-4) Last Week – 6
As longs as the defense allowed their typical 18 points per game the Broncos have a chance to win with Brock Osweiler at the helm. But to ask the backup QB to score 21+ points seems like too much right now. The Broncos have a problem on their hands – Osweiler definitely won’t lead them to the promise land – FREE PEYTON!!!!!
10. Minnesota Vikings
(9-5) Last Week – 11
The Vikings proved just how good they are on Sunday – beating down the Bears without Adrian Peterson for the majority of the game. It was Teddy Bridgewater that took control and threw 4 TDs in the win – a good sign for a team that could make a serious run assuming they are as balanced as they looked in Week 15.
11. New York Jets
(9-5) Last Week 10
The Jets won in Week 15 but slip in the Rankings largely because of the unspectacular fashion they defeated the Cowboys with. New York looked simply average and falls out of the top 10 because of it.

12. Washington Redskins
(7-7) Last Week – 15
The Redskins are in control of their own destiny – a win in Week 16 would clinch the NFC East. Washington handled a pretty good Buffalo Bills team Sunday – Kirk Cousins threw four TDs and looks like the answer to a huge question in DC. The Skins are legit and could be a factor in the playoffs!
13. Houston Texans (7-7) Last Week – 17
14. New York Giants (6-8) Last Week – 14
15. Philadelphia Eagles (6-8) Last Week – 12
16. Oakland Raiders (6-8) Last Week – 18
17. Buffalo Bills (6-8) Last Week – 16
18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-8) Last Week – 19
19. Indianapolis Colts (6-8) Last Week – 13
20. St. Louis Rams (6-8) Last Week – 26
21. Detroit Lions (5-9) Last Week – 25
22. Chicago Bears (5-9) Last Week – 20
23. New Orleans Saints (5-9) Last Week – 21
24. Atlanta Falcons (7-7) Last Week – 24
25. San Diego Chargers (4-10) Last Week – 28
26. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-9) Last Week – 22
27. Miami Dolphins (5-9) Last Week – 23
28. Dallas Cowboys (4-10) Last Week – 27
29. Cleveland Browns (3-11) Last Week – 30
30. San Francisco 49ers (4-10) Last Week – 31
31. Baltimore Ravens (4-10) Last Week – 32
32. Tennessee Titans (3-11) Last Week – 29
