1. Russell Wilson, Seahawks
The hottest player in Fantasy Football, Russell Wilson draws the Cleveland Browns’ weak defense this week – there could be fireworks! Wilson has 16 TD passes in his last four games with zero interceptions and a rushing score over that span – amazing. With the loss of Thomas Rawls to injury expect the Seahawks to lean more on the pass this week and for Wilson to light it up again.

He hasn’t been under 260 yards passing in five weeks – expect him to be at or near the 300 yard mark again this week with 3-4 TD passes. Wilson is a shocking #1 this week but an obvious one!
2. Tom Brady, Patriots
Tom Brady, at home, against a below average pass defense in a game that the Patriots have to have to retain top seed in the AFC – sound like a recipe for a good week for Mr. Brady. Add in the fact that Rob Gronkowski should be “all systems go” and this has all the makings of a huge week for Tom. Brady has reached the 300 yard mark just one time in his last four games but I like him to eclipse that mark this week. The running game is banged up leaving all of the heavy lifting in Tom’s hands and there are no other hands I’d rather have lifting. Brady should get back to the 300 yards mark and get his usual 3 TDs in an easy win.

3. Cam Newton, Panthers
NFL MVP Cam Newton looks to extend a serious streak this week against a bad Giants defense. He threw for 265 yards and 3 TDs last week in just three quarters against the Falcons and should be able to eclipse those numbers this week –easily. He has 8 TD passes in his last two starts overall and enters this week absolutely on fire! Ted Ginn has found his place in the offense, Greg Olsen is stellar and Newton’s supporting cast continues to overachieve. I like Newton to end up with 275 or so yards passing with 2-3 TDs. He is also good for 40-50 yards rushing and a TD on the ground. Newton is a Stud folks – Sunday’s game against the G-Men will further prove that point.
4. Carson Palmer, Cardinals
It should be a good week for Palmer who takes on the third-worst D against opposing QBs – Philadelphia. His numbers have tailed off as of late but the Eagles are the perfect matchup for him to snap a bit of a Fantasy mini-slump. 300 yards and 3 TDs is where I see Carson ending up this week – right around his average for what has been a terrific year.
5. Aaron Rodgers, Packers
Rodgers and the Packers look every bit like a team that is about to start ramping up in a big way. This week the Packers take on the Oakland Raiders – a team that has been generous lately against opposing QBs.

Rodgers still hasn’t tossed more than 2 TDs in his last five games but is in a good position to break that streak this week, especially with Randall Cobb finally looking like that threat we all expected. Rodgers is still one of the best in the game and should hit 275-300 yards with 3 TDs this week. I am also expecting 25-40 yards rushing! Trust Rodgers as a top 5 option – don’t overthink – he is the best in the game!
