Guards
Trae Young, ATL (vs NYK), $7.6 DK
If you’ve followed us throughout the early part of the 2018-19 season, you’ve heard us talk quite a bit about Trae Young’s boom-or-bust potential. That risk still exists when taking the rookie point guard, but he’s seemingly added a new wrinkle that makes him a bit more of a safe, high-ceiling pick.
In his last two outings, Young has struggled from deep, going just 2-of-9 from the three-point line. But whereas that type of shooting showing might make him useless early in the year, in those two contests, the Oklahoma product found a way to collect 10 and 15 assists to go with his 14 and 24 points, respective.
If Young can find ways to get his teammates involved when his shot isn’t falling, that’s huge for a player who would’ve largely been considered a bust if his shot hadn’t translated to the pros and his game didn’t otherwise develop.
Dwyane Wade, MIA, (vs SAS) $5.0k DK
[dfads params=’groups=38073&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
Dwyane Wade probably has one or two vintage Wade performances left in him, but that’s not why we’re suggesting you take the Heat legend in his last season. Over his last three games, he’s become a much safer pick despite his ceiling being a rare reachable point. He’s settling into a groove in his role and he’s getting graduation goggles in the process. This will be the last time he ever plays the San Antonio Spurs in the building in which he beat them for his final championship. Wade should have a strong performance on Tuesday.
Forwards
Paul George, OKC (@ CLE), $9.1k DK
The forward position is saturated with first- and second-tier stars during Tuesday night’s slate. Simply put: You can’t fade them all.
At this point, we’re taking one of the most economically responsible picks who happens to be facing a terrible defense in Paul George. The OKC Thunder should have a field day against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and George will see great results despite being $2.4k cheaper than Anthony Davis, the position’s top option.
Kyle Kuzma, LAL (vs MIN), $5.0 DK
Kyle Kuzma is struggling on defense, but his offensive production remains good enough to consider at his price point. Also consider the fact that the Timberwolves, whom the Lakers are playing on Tuesday night, are atrocious on defense and overall lifeless as they try to pawn off Jimmy Butler to someone else, and you have a perfect storm for a value pick.
Centers
Noah Vonleh, NYK (@ ATL) $5.2k DK
Noah Vonleh’s price is slowly increasing, but not at the pace it probably should. Vonleh remains a good value pick despite seeing his price tag above $5k for the first time all year against a Hawks team still trying to make up for the fact that its young big with All-Star potential, John Collins, has yet to make his season debut.

One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
Don’t go chasing money in high dollar GPP’s. Stick to cash games, and try to play on bigger slates. Avoid those night time 2 games slates. Your bankroll will thank us later.
