Guards
CJ McCollum, POR (@ LAL), $6.6k DK
Damian Lillard has been on fire this season, and between the Lakers’ porous guard defense, L.A.’s overall struggles, the Dame-to-Los Angeles rumors we heard at the start of the year and the ESPN spotlight, he’d be an easy choice here—if he weren’t dealing with a knee injury.
Lillard is questionable entering this contest, and his teammate, CJ McCollum, was just named last week’s Western Conference Player of the Week. Even if Lillard does play, McCollum is a high-upside player with a relatively low cost.
Goran Dragic, MIA (@ BKN) $6.3k DK
The Brooklyn Nets will be without Caris LeVert for possibly the rest of the season after his gruesome leg injury earlier this week, which means they’re without one of their better players on both sides of the ball. That’s not going to help a team that is 28th in the league in defending guards this season. Goran Dragic is a great option here.

Forwards
Joe Ingles (@ DAL), $6.1k DK
The Mavericks are not a good defensive team. Joe Ingles, despite being known as a pesky defender, is a very capable scorer who can hit from beyond the arc or bully smaller, weaker players down low in one-on-one settings. His ceiling isn’t top-tier, but he has one of the highest floors of anyone Wednesday night. Take Ingles at $6.1k knowing you’ll get your money’s worth—possibly and then some.
Serge Ibaka (vs TOR), $6.2k DK
Serge Ibaka is having a quietly productive season. Since his OKC days, he’s gotten lost in a shuffle a bit, but the good news for you is that the casual fan may not be up on how good he’s been—or more specifically, how good he can be against Detroit.
Despite the Pistons having some serious star power in the frontcourt between Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond, they’re just 25th in the NBA defending forwards in DFS.
Ibaka has a chance to fill the stat sheets in this one.
Centers
Anthony Davis, NOLA (@ MIN) $11.3k DK
$11.3k? That’s a big-time spend on a night with a pretty full slate.
It’s also the easiest money you should spend all week.
Karl-Anthony Towns is now a man on a mission without Jimmy Butler in his way, but he’s still a suspect defender. He’s going to end up with plenty of Anthony Davis’ potential rebounds, but AD is going to go OFF against a team in flux and a center still trying to develop a defensive identity.

One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
Don’t go chasing money in high dollar GPP’s. Stick to cash games, and try to play on bigger slates. Avoid those night time 2 games slates. Your bankroll will thank us later.
