NBA DFS: Guards
Stephen Curry, GSW [@ CHI] (DK: $10.4k, FD: $9.8k)
Russell Westbrook is going to be tempting on Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Lakers (ranked 27th against point guards), but with the OKC star sitting at $11.6k, Curry has potential to be the better value.
Although still not cheap, Stephen Curry is going up against the 30th ranked Chicago Bulls. It’s true Chicago has seen a turnaround since its early dumpster fire, but in this one, Curry should have a field day—as he’s made routine since his return since an ankle injury.
Lou Williams, LAC [vs DEN] (DK: $8.7k, FD: $8.9k)
If you can afford to over-expose your backcourt (or if you avoid Curry and Westbrook in favor of value picks like Kyle Anderson), Lou Williams is an easy choice against the fast-paced Denver Nuggets.
Denver has found success stopping guards this season, but Williams has yet to meet his match. His last outing against the Houston Rockets saw him for for better than 51 FPTS.
NBA DFS: Forwards
LaMarcus Aldridge, SAS [@ BKN] (DK: $8.2k, FD: $8.7k)
LaMarcus Aldridge is having one heck of a season. It started with rumors of his discontent over the summer, it then led to an official trade request and a heart-to-heart with head coach Gregg Popovich, and it has since turned into a career year.
[dfads params=’groups=38073&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
In even better news, LMA is going up against a Brooklyn Nets squad that relies exclusively on turning games into high-possession shootouts. Aldridge is coming off a strong 25-point, 11-rebound, one-block performance against another struggling Eastern Conference team (the Atlanta Hawks).
Jordan Bell, GSW [@ CHI] (DK: $4.5k, FD: $4.3k)
Jordan Bell represents our first and only high-risk, high-reward selection of the Wednesday night slate.
Against Chicago, Bell gets his second shot at a revenge game. The Bulls drafted him in June and then immediately traded him for (what’s now infamously known as) cash considerations.
In their first meeting of the season, Bell played a then-season-high 26 minutes, scoring seven points to go along with four assists, six rebounds and six blocks. His performance this time will depend exclusively on how many minutes Kerr plans on giving him.
Keep an eye on that, as he’s a near guarantee to play above his price—but only if he gets the minutes.
NBA DFS: Centers
Steven Adams, OKC [@ LAL] (DK: $6.5k, FD: $6.9k)
Steven Adams is a strong choice at $6.5k against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Brook Lopez has proven to be a serviceable offensive center so far this season, but L.A. is dead last in defending centers in DFS this year, giving us plenty of faith in what Adams can do Wednesday night.
