Markelle Fultz, PHI (@ DET) $4.9k DK
Markelle Fultz remains a high-upside prospect at this point in the season. No, he hasn’t been good enough to see an uptick in price; however, he also isn’t bad enough to be a shocking pick by anyone’s account.
But none of the popular perception matters here. It’s all about value. And Fultz gives you value under $5k.
Gary Harris, DEN (vs DEN), $6.5k DK
As if there weren’t enough reasons to draft Gary Harris at this point, now Will Barton is out and Jamal Murray is questionable.
Harris has seen some solid production up to this point; chances are, it’s about to increase.
JJ Redick, PHI (@ DET), $5.3k DK
JJ Redick—despite being called “old as s–t” by his own teammate Joel Embiid—is still the kind of player who can get you five or more three-pointers on any given night.
On this particular night, he’s going up against a Detroit Pistons squad that is dead last in DFS against players at his position.
Consider this one of your best value picks of the evening’s slate.
Zach Collins, POR (vs WSH), $3.7k DK
Zach Collins represents a risk here, but one worth taking. His cost is low, his ceiling is high and when he’s on, the second-year lottery pick can impact a game on both ends of the court, scoring at the rim, hitting shots beyond the arc and blocking shots.
Washington may get some added rebounding if Dwight Howard is able to play in his first game of the 2018-19 campaign, but it will also likely limit his minutes and will definitely have a learning curve as it pertains to incorporating a brand new integral piece.
Myles Turner, IND (@ MIN) $6k DK
You’ve already heard us say this once this season, but you’d better believe this won’t be the last.
It’s time to pick on Karl-Anthony Towns.
Towns, as talented as he is on offense, leaves a lot to be desired on the point-preventing side of the court. Myles Turner, who, admittedly, hasn’t had a real fast start to the year, should have one of his better showings while people sleep on his early showings.
- Rajon Rondo/Brandon Ingram, G/F, LAL [UPGRADES: Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart]
One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
Don’t go chasing money in high dollar GPP’s. Stick to cash games, and try to play on bigger slates. Avoid those night time 2 games slates. Your bankroll will thank us later.
