Guards
Ricky Rubio, Utah, (vs GSW), $6.8k DK, $6.8k FD
Ricky Rubio is often skipped over by DFS owners because he plays at a slow pace and doesn’t shoot three-pointers, but on Tuesday you can’t afford to look past him.
[dfads params=’groups=38073&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
Against Golden State, he’ll be forced to play at a fast pace and he’ll be going up against a team without its best player in Stephen Curry.
Rubio has played poorly in his last two outings, but he’s just three out from dropping 51.5 FPTS against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Isaiah Taylor, ATL (vs PHI) $4.5k DK, $4.9k FD
Speaking of point guards who go unnoticed by owners…can casual fans even tell you which team Isaiah Taylor plays for?
Against the Philadelphia 76ers, Taylor enters having dropped 24 FPTS on the league-leading defense Boston Celtics. He’s had stretches in his last 10 where he’s posting nearly 36 FPTS per night, and yet his cost refuses to rise.
Learn the name; draft the guard.
Forwards
Robert Covington, SAS (@ ATL), $7.2k DK, $7.5k FD
Robert Covington hasn’t been as consistent an option as we expected with Joel Embiid sidelined, but he’s coming off a strong 15-point, 10-rebound, three-assist, two-block, two-steal performance against the Dallas Mavericks that also saw him knock down three of his six three-point attempts.
Against the Mavs—a team still working on stocking up on ping pong balls via losses—RoCo should have a field day and put together another nice showing.
Josh Hart, LAL (vs HOU), $5.9k DK, $5.6k FD
Josh Hart continues to be yet another bright spot for the Los Angeles Lakers in a season that has to be considered a resounding success. L.A. doesn’t own its draft pick, so tanking was never an option, and players like Hart have shown they have a ton of potential.
Hart has averaged 37.36 FPTS over his last two.
Centers
Rudy Gobert, UTAH (vs GSW) $8.1k DK, $9.0k FD
If the Warriors and the Jazz meet in the playoffs, there’s a good chance the former goes extreme small ball to defeat the latter in a series. But on Tuesday, Stephen Curry is out, the Warriors have already locked in the No. 2 seed and the Jazz are fighting for postseason positioning.
Gobert has a chance to dominate this game on both ends and put together one of the best center stat lines of the night.
Injuries/Upgrades
- Joel Embiid, C, PHI (OUT) [UPGRADES: Richaun Holmes, Robert Covington]
- Stephen Curry, G, GSW (OUT) [UPGRADES: Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, Quinn Cook]
One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
