Guards
Damian Lillard, POR (@ OKC), $8.6k DK
The last time the Blazers and Thunder faced off, Russell Westbrook infamously shouted at Damian Lillard in the final minutes (while the latter was at the line), “I’ve been whoppin’ that ass for years!”
If you want to go with Russ in this spot, we don’t blame you. He has history on the line going for a record in terms of consecutive triple-doubles, and he clearly relishes the moment against a competitor like Lillard.
But here’s the catch: The numbers don’t necessarily support Westbrook’s theory.
With revenge on Lillard’s mind, we’re taking Dame in this battle. Westbrook may very well get his record-setting triple-double, but he’ll cost you $11.5k in the process. Lillard should have one of his better games this season at just $8.6k.
Jamal Murray, DEN (vs MIA) $6.3k DK
The Denver Nuggets are sitting Gary Harris on Monday night against the Miami Heat, which makes guys like Jamal Murray and Will Barton more value.

At this point in the 2018-19 season, we trust Murray far more than we trust Barton.
Take this Nuggets guard at what should be a pretty good value.
Forwards
Kenneth Faried (vs DAL), $6.8k DK
Kenneth Faried finally has a home. He never quite fit in Denver and the Nets weren’t going to be his forever spot.
The Rockets are the right team.
Against Dallas, the Manimal has a real shot at one of his best games yet this season. Admittedly, his floor is a bit low for a $6.8k cost. But his ceiling is ridiculously high and he could be one of your better sneaky value picks from Monday night’s slate.
Nicolas Batum (@ IND), $4.9 DK
Nicolas Batum is another good potential value pick. At sub-$5k, he’s recently posted 27 and 32 points in his last two games, respectively. He’s not going to be a high-points guy most likely—unless he somehow chanels whatever got into him when he recorded his 5×5 a handful of years ago—but he can impact a box score in a meaningful way and should be good to meet his expected production at the very (very) minimum.
Centers
Ivica Zubac, LAC (@ MIn) $4.0k DK
Ivica Zubac is going to go down as one of the sneakiest best pickups of the 2019 trade deadline. Seriously—check back in with us in a few years and I bet we’ll feel the same way.
Zubac has performed very well, and there’s a good chance the Los Angeles Lakers will regret dealing him to the Clips. Furthermore, there’s a good chance you’ll regret not picking up this big man for a cool $4k on Monday.

One last thing. Remember… at the end of the day if you can’t afford to gamble online OR play at Draft Kings and Fan Duel then STOP. We know most DFS players need action, heck we do too, so just bet what you can afford.
Don’t go chasing money in high dollar GPP’s. Stick to cash games, and try to play on bigger slates. Avoid those night time 2 games slates. Your bankroll will thank us later.
