Week 9 of the NFL season is upon us – time to start thinking about locking in your Fantasy lineups. As always there are some juicy matchups for quarterbacks this upcoming week – ones that could take you over the top! There is a bunch of familiar names on his week’s list – ones that should all eclipse the 300 yard mark and throw multiple TD passes.

So which QB Studs will carry you to the promise land this week? Let’s take a look at the top5 Fantasy Quarterback plays for Week 9.
1. Tom Brady, Patriots
No argument with the top spot this week – Tom Brady has been money in the bank! A matchup versus the Redskins shouldn’t slow him down. Last week was 356 yards and 4 TDs – a similar effort this week certainly isn’t out of the question.

Ride him while he’s HOT folks – 300+ yards and 3 TDs is almost a guarantee!
2. Phillip Rivers, Chargers
The league’s leading passer will play his first game without Keenan Allen but I’m not all that concerned with his numbers this week. The Chargers absolutely HAVE to throw in order to be successful. Rivers has gone over 300 yards each of the last five weeks and has thrown two or three TDs in each of those games.
A matchup against the Bears on Monday night should be another good one for Rivers who should go over 300 yards again and toss 2-3 TDs. Rivers has been winging it – don’t expect that to stop with the loss of Allen.

3. Drew Brees, Saints
Brees threw for 7 TDs last week – 7! And he also went over the 500 yard mark. New Orleans may have found something – that the pass is still their true identity and that the run should be a complimentary piece – not the centerpiece.
The week Brees has the Titans – enough said! 300+ yards and 2-3 TDs is a reasonable expectation this week.
4. Eli Manning, Giants
Manning threw for 350 yards and 6 TDs last week – his third time this year that he has thrown 3+ TDs. I am not expecting the Buccaneers to put up much of a fight here.
With Odell Beckham looking healthy and lethal, with Shane Vereen becoming an instant weapon out of the backfield and with a supporting cast that more than did its job last week. I expect the Giants to cure the inconsistencies and to put a whoopin on Tampa Bay.

300 yards and 3 TDs is where I see Manning this week.
5. Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers
Ben struggled last week in his return from injury – credit the Bengals defense for getting after Ben. This week the Steelers face a far softer secondary – the Raiders. Oakland has been very good against the run which forces teams to throw often in order to beat them.
That plays right into Big Ben’s hands who should be able to find Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant and Heath Miller early and often.
I am expecting a big game for Ben – 300 yards and 2-3 TDs for the more recognizable Ben Roethlisberger.
