Dave B’s Fantasy 9 Defense – DST Rankings – DFS
The time has almost arrived – the time when your Fantasy lineups have to be locked in for Week 9. Defenses look as though they could play a big part again this week – the Broncos play the Colts, the Jets play the Jags, the Bengals play the Browns and the Falcons play the 49ers – each of those games should produce some big numbers for the defenses.

With that in mind which D/STs can we trust to take us to the promise land? Let’s take a look at the top 5 Fantasy D/ST plays of Week 9.
1. Denver
The Broncos have the pleasure of playing a Colts team that has turned the ball over with regularity against far lesser defenses – four times against the Panthers on Monday night.

The Broncos have caught the Colts at just the right time – Andrew Luck can’t get anything to his receivers and the running game has been stuck in neutral all season long. Denver represents the best defense that Indianapolis has played this season – it could get ugly for Indianapolis at Denver’s expense.
2. N.Y. Jets
The Jets defense gets the turnover prone Jaguars this week. Jacksonville’s limited success can be tied to their ability to get their wideouts the ball – Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie will have something to say about that!
TJ Yeldon doesn’t match up all that well with the Jets stout run defense either. The Jets should be a motivated team on home turf – their defense should dominate one of the least threatening offenses in the game.
3. Cincinnati
The Bengals host the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night – Johnny Manzeil has been tabbed to start that game – cha-ching!
[dfads params=’groups=228&limit=1&return_javascript=1′]
Cincinnati will be motivated to shut Manzeil’s mouth once and for all and to remain undefeated in the process.
Cincinnati has allowed just three passing TDs in three home games this year – Travis Benjamin and Gary Barnidge will be shut down. That leaves Cleveland’s running game to do the damage – the trio hasn’t been great and against the Bengals they are sure to struggle again.
4. St. Louis
The Rams secondary has been one of the best all season long – they have allowed just five total TDs against all season long – impressive. Minnesota rookie Stefon Diggs will likely find it tough sledding as Teddy Bridgewater struggles to get the ball into his hands.
That leaves Adrian Peterson to do some damage and Peterson has not looked like himself lately.

The Rams have allowed just one 100+ yard rusher all season long and have allowed just three rushing TDs all year. St. Louis is a matchup nightmare for any team – the Vikings included.
5. Atlanta
The Falcons have the pleasure of facing the San Francisco 49ers this week – they are a mess of epic proportions. Blaine Gabbert – one of the worst QB in recent memory takes over from an ineffective Colin Kaepernick.
Add in the fact that the 49ers traded Vernon Davis away and Reggie Bush is gone for the year with injury and there is next to nothing to like about the offense.
Heck – Carlos Hyde has a fractured foot as well!! San Francisco is brutal folks – watch the Falcons absolutely humiliate them further.
