Dave B’s Fantasy 7 RB Rankings – DFS
Week 7 of the NFL season is upon us – there are once again some juicy RB matchups for which to wrap your brains around.
Devonta Freeman looks untouchable, Adrian Peterson is due for a huge bounce back and LeSean McCoy is back to full health after an unflattering start to his tenure in Buffalo.

So which Studs are locks for a big week? Let’s take a look at the top 5 Fantasy Running Back plays for Week 7.
1. Devonta Freeman, Falcons
vs. Tennessee Titan
This guy has been absolute money all season long – no reason to think differently about Freeman against the Titans this week. He has nine TDs in his last four games, he has been regularly eclipsing the century mark in rushing and he’s catching the ball out of the backfield – what’s not to like?

Freeman is a lock for 100 yards this week in a game that the Falcons should control – with a TD on the ground. He is also likely to catch 5-7 balls for 50 yards and a possible TD through the air. It all adds up to another huge week for Freeman this week – your #1 RB option in Week 7.
2. Adrian Peterson, Vikings
vs. Detroit Lions
Peterson was stuck in the mud last week en route to just 60 yards on 24 carries. I expect that to change this week against a bad Detroit defense. He had 134 yards on 29 carries the last time he faced the Lions – similar numbers are what I am expecting here.
Look for the Vikes to build a lead and to ride Peterson for another patented late-game 40+ yard TD run. Peterson is a lock for 100 yards this week with 1, possibly 2 TDs.
3. LeSean McCoy, Bills
vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Bills head to London this week to face the lowly Jags – a team that has had its issues stopping the run this year. McCoy rumbled for 90 yards on 17 carries and a TD in his first game back from injury and showed zero signs that he can’t handle a full workload this week.

McCoy will have little competition for carries this week as Karlos Williams is still home with a concussion. McCoy should threaten the 100 mark, catch 5 balls out of the backfield for about 40 yards and score 2 TDs on the day. Those of you who were patient on McCoy will start to be rewarded.
4. Arian Foster, Texans
vs. Miami Dolphins
Ya – the Fins looked better last week but the defense is still a mess – a good sign for Foster in this game. He is back to being the absolute lead dog in Houston and should have more than his share of opportunities again this week.
He is always good for catches and yardage out of the backfield and he has a chance to gain 100+ yards on the ground this week against the disappointing Fins. Expect 125 combined yards with a TD, maybe 2 for Foster this week – easily a top 5 Fantasy RB play.
5. Todd Gurley, Rams
vs. Cleveland Browns
Has there been a more impressive rookie so far this season? Off a bye and two superb rushing games, Gurley lands in the top 5 this week.

Let’s see – he had 146 yards against the Cards and 159 against the Packers – two pretty good defenses and now he gets a crack at the Browns! He has yet to score a TD but I think that changes as Gurley dominates the offensive headlines again in St. Louis.
