Dave B’s Fantasy 5 TE Rankings – DFS
To have a top quality Tight End on your Fantasy squad is a true luxury – 75 yards and a TD or two is a whole lot better than 45 yards and zero TDs!
The top tier Tight Ends are starting to separate themselves already – there is definitely more than one every-week must play Tight Ends.

Let’s take a look at all of them in the top 5 Fantasy TE plays for Week 3.
1. Rob Gronkowski – New England Patriots
vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Here’s the no-duh pick of the week! Gronk has been a beast so far registering 207 yards receiving and 4 TDs in the two games played.

He will eat again this week on a weak Jacksonville defense. If he could muster 113 yards and a TD against the Bills defense imagine what he’ll do against Jacksonville.
It’s gonna be ugly for the Jags but beautiful for Gronk owners. I am expecting 80-100 yards receiving and two scores this week!
2. Travis Kelce – KC Chiefs
vs. Green Bay Packers
Kelce was held in check against the Broncos in Week 2 – I don’t expect the Chiefs to allow that to happen again in Week 3.

He is the clear-cut second option in KC’s passing game and a threat to score every week. 7 catches for 80 yards and a TD is where I see Kelce ending up this week – good enough to be named the second best TE play this week!
3. Tyler Eifert – Bengals
vs. Baltimore Ravens
Has scored in Cincinnati’s first two games and is the unquestioned #1 Red Zone threat for this team.
He had just 49 yards receiving last week on four catches but his targets were second behind AJ Green last week. The Bengals may have a tougher time running the ball this week, unlike last which makes Kelce an even more intriguing option. I like him to get 75 yards receiving this week and to score for the third week in a row.
Eifert is close to Tier 1 Tight End territory and could get there with another strong week!
4. Jordan Reed – Redskins
vs. NY Giants
Had a team high 82 yards receiving last week and should be able to carry that in against a Giants team that has struggled against Tight Ends so far this season. Reed may be the most reliable pass catcher for Kirk Cousins. As long as he’s healthy Reed is an every week play.
I like him to end up with top 5 TE #s this week – 70 yards and a score on 6 receptions.
5. Jimmy Graham – Seahawks
vs. Chicago Bears
Had only two passes thrown his way last week – I don’t expect that to happen again.

Underutilizing a weapon of Graham’s caliber is criminal – the Seattle brass know this. Against one of the worst defenses in the game, Graham is in a perfect position to get it going and to dominate the only way he knows how.
Graham is still the second most gifted TEs in the game – the trick is learning how to utilize his immense talents. I like Graham to go for 6 catches, 80 yards and a TD this week – easily in the top 5 of NFL TEs.
