Dave B’s Fantasy 5 RB Rankings – DFS
Week 1 of the Fantasy Football season was interesting to say the least when talking about the top RB producers. Carlos Hyde and Chris Ivory stole the show while Adrian Peterson, Marshawn Lynch and Lamar Miller did nothing to help their Fantasy squads.

Will the Vikings bounce back?
Can the Seahawks rediscover their form? Will some other RB2s emerge and be the story of the week again? Many questions indeed.

So which RBs should start for your team this week? Let’s take a look at the top 5 Fantasy RB plays for Week 2 – four of which will be looking for a strong bounce back this week.
1. Marshawn Lynch – Seattle Seahawks
vs. Green Bay
The Seahawks WILL get Marshawn the ball this week – they just have to. He dominated the Packers last year going off for 110 yards and two scores in the first meeting and later 157 yards and one score in the playoffs.
He didn’t have the greatest week against the Rams, mostly because he was not a huge part of the game plan. I expect that to change this week and for Lynch to take some of his frustrations out on the Green Bay Packers.
2. Jeremy Hill – Cincinnati Bengals
vs. San Diego Chargers
Hill was relatively quiet last week just like Lynch but he did manage 2TDs – he’s definitely the guy that is going to handle the rock near the goal line.

I expect the Bengals to run the ball in order to keep Philip Rivers off the field and for Hill to be the major beneficiary.
I’m expecting 100+ yards and at least one more score this week to go along with a couple of receptions out of the backfield. Hill will be a top 5 guy this week for sure.
3. Adrian Peterson – Minnesota Vikings
vs. Detroit Lions
Worried about Peterson’s dud in Week 1? Don’t be. The 49ers took the Vikings totally out of their game plan and taught the Vikings brass a good lesson – DON’T FORGET ABOUT THEIR BEST PLAYER!!
Both Peterson and the Vikings coaching staff will be out to prove that Week 1 was an aberration – expect 20+ touches this week – not the 13 he got last!
4. DeMarco Murray – Philadelphia Eagles
vs. Dallas Cowboys
This is going to be fun isn’t it? Murray was effectively taken out of the game plan last week by Atlanta of all teams but he still managed to score twice – once on the ground and the other through the air. He will see the rock a ton this week against his former team in a game that the Eagles absolutely have to have.
Ryan Matthews scares me a tad behind Murray but not enough to bump him out of my Top 5 plays. I am expecting 110 combined yards and two scores again this week.
5. Matt Forte – Chicago Bears
vs. Arizona Cardinals
The Cards have a good defense for sure but Forte has already done well against a top tier defense this season – Green Bay’s. He went off for 141 yards and a TD on 24 carries last week and proved that he is the absolute bell cow for this offense again.

He had five receptions in the loss and will catch his share again this year despite rumors to the contrary. I love Forte to rack up 110 combined yards this week with another 6-8 grabs and a TD which should easily be in the top 5 of Week 2 RBs.
I love the shootout and Thursday night’s game will be one.
Other Sneaky Good Starts: Chris Ivory – NY Jets, Carlos Hyde – SF 49ers
