Let’s take a look at the top Wide Receiver plays for Week 1 of the Fantasy season.
1. Julio Jones – Atlanta Falcons
vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Juicy matchup against a pretty bad Eagles secondary. With Kyle Shanahan running the offense Jones will be targeted early and often. In a game that is sure to be a shootout he is an automatic play.

Anything less than 8 catches, 125 yards and a TD would be a disappointment for my top Receiver play this week.
2. Antonio Brown – Pittsburgh Steelers
vs. New England Patriots
No LeVeon Bell means that Big Ben will lean on his other huge weapon. Roethlisberger will throw and throw some more in what could be the highest scoring game of the weekend.
The Patriots secondary is nowhere near where they were last year – exploitable as ever as we head into Week 1.

Start Brown and enjoy the 110 yards and TD that he’ll produce – and that’s a conservative projection!
3. Dez Bryant – Dallas Cowboys
vs. New York Giants
With what looks on paper to be an uninspiring running game in Dallas the Cowboys will absolutely have to lean on the passing game and there is no bigger threat that Dez.
Bryant is the unquestioned #1 guy in the offense and should see a lot more Red Zone looks with DeMarco out of the mix. Bryant will be a monster this year – it all starts against an underwhelming, smallish Giants secondary.
4. Odell Beckham Jr. – New York Giants
vs. Dallas Cowboys
Beckham gets a crack at a secondary that just lost their best cover guy – by far.
Without Orlando Scandrick locking Beckham down this could be an epic start. He had 14 catches, 180 yards and 4 TDs last year against the Cowboys – expect more dominance.
5. Demaryius Thomas – Denver Broncos
vs. Baltimore Ravens
Something tells me Thomas may lead the NFL in targets this upcoming season – with Julius Thomas gone, Demaryius may soak up all of his Red Zone targets.

Denver has a lot to prove – expect them to make a statement at home in Week 1 when Peyton’s arm hasn’t hit the noodle stage.
Other Sneaky Good Starts: DeAndre Hopkins – Houston Texans, Jordan Matthews – Philadelphia Eagles
