The second best conference all this season in the college basketball has been the ACC. With three teams reaching #1 ranking during the year many think this conference will bring the NCAA Championship team back to the ACC. With seven teams receiving bids to enter the NCAA tournament they tie for the most teams in the tournament with both Big East and Big Ten.
With only one NFL game left it is time to turn my attention to NCAA basketball. It is hard to believe that the NCAA tournament selection show is only 55 days away. I’m going to look at five teams that present a lot of value with 8 weeks remaining in the season. To make the list I will only consider teams who odds makers have listed at 10-1 or higher so as of 1/19/09 that rules out the following teams UNC, UConn, Louisville, Duke and Pitt.
The Midshipmen of Navy (8-4 SU, 6-5 ATS) are coming off two straight shutout wins as they cruise into the first-ever Eagle Bank Bowl. They will take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (7-5 SU, 5-7 ATS), a team they vanquished during the regular season, in NCAA college football sports betting action scheduled to take place at 11 AM ET on December 20 (Saturday) at RFK Stadium (natural turf) in Washington, DC.

Wake Forest hasn’t been a favorite against their ACC rivals from Florida State in over 10 years. Being an underdog has fared well for the Demon Deacons though as they’ve covered seven of the last 10 games against the Seminoles with one push.
