Carl Pettersson Wins The 2008 Wyndham Championship

Carl Pettersson caught fire on the back nine Sunday to win the Wyndham Championship by two shots over Scott McCarron.

Pettersson fired a closing round of two-under 68, and a final score of 21-under.

Pettersson also set new 36- and 54- hole scoring records along the way.

The big bonus for him though was winning the tournament vaulted him into the TOP 30 on the PGA tour Fed-EX cup points list.
