Holy crap what the hell happened here? The winless Rams take on the pitiful Lions in a game that only a mother could love. Ah heck, if Marc Bulger’s mother loves football she probably wouldn’t even bother with this game! Jacksonville Tries to Get a Home Win Over St. Louis
I mean, nobody expected Matt Hasselbeck to come back last Sunday. But then again, nobody expected the Jaguars to get blanked 41-0 last week in Seattle. No points?! None?? Now the Jags get to return home and get a verifiable gift from the schedule makers by hosting the St. Louis Rams, who are winless SU and just 1-4 ATS. Oh yeah, and they’re also cruising on an 0-15 SU losing streak that goes back to Week 6 from 2008.

Coming off an epic performance against his former team, Brett Favre and the Vikings hit the road on a short week to take on the Rams in St. Louis. On paper this is quite the mismatch as the Vikings are 4-0 while the Rams are 0-4 and have been shut out in two of its losses.
Kyle Boller is back, and everyone in St. Louis is trying to kick themselves in the balls. The weird part is that even the women in St. Louis are trying to do the same, which is how bad things have gotten in St. Louis. Nobody knows what the hell is happening, and now they’ve lost their perennial leader in Marc Bulger to another injury and will have to watch Kyle Boller try to lead this team against a Niners team which was one Brett Favre miracle away from going undefeated to open the 2009 betting season.

The Green Bay Packers (1-1 SU, 1-1 ATS, 1-1 O/U) will be looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season while the struggling St. Louis Rams (0-2 SU, 1-1 ATS, 0-2 O/U) look to record this first victory under head coach Steve Spagnuolo when the NFC rivals meet at the Edward Jones Dome on Sunday at 1 PM ET.
There was a new regime, new parts and new optimism in St. Louis but all of that excitement quickly died down after one game. The Rams were shutout 28-0 and while the effort was there, they still got smacked around.
Meanwhile, the Redskins also had a discouraging performance as their offense looked disjointed and they couldn’t capitalize on good opportunities that their defense – and the New York Giants – created.

The St. Louis Rams are a mess. The Arizona Cardinals, up until the disaster against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thanksgiving Night, were one of the best offensive teams in the NFL. I say offensive teams because the Cardinals’ defense has been exposed more than once this season. Arizona has the best wide receiver in the NFL playing for them, Larry Fitzgerald.
