NBA: TOP WEEKEND POWER TRENDS 4/10-4/12

It’s the final weekend of the NBA’s regular season, and by the time we meet again next Friday, the playoff matchups will be set and we’ll be anxiously awaiting the tip-off of the postseason the next day. Sportsbook.com: NIT Championship Preview

NCAAB: BETTING THE NIT CHAMPIONSHIP

Just 2 ½ weeks ago, coach Ed DeChellis and his Penn State team watched the NCAA Tournament Selection Show with disappointment as they were one of the teams left out in the cold.

Apparently though, the Nittany Lions took this snubbing and used it as motivation to make a postseason run of a different kind, in the NIT Tournament.

NBA Weekend Betting Trends (March 28)

NBA WEEKEND POWER TRENDS

The playoff picture is getting clearer and clearer but we still have some great power trends this weekend to help you cash-in.

On Saturday, drama is aplenty when the desperate Phoenix Suns visit the Utah Jazz. Phoenix goes into the weekend trailing the 8th spot in the West by 3.5 games. Unfortunately, in their last two trips to Utah, they were beaten by 12 and 22 points respectively.  Plus, Utah is again a sterling 30-6 straight-up and 21-15 ATS at home.

Warriors vs. Spurs NBA Hoops Previews (Mar. 24th)

NBA: SYSTEM AGAINST SPURS

The majority of members (72%) are backing San Antonio as nine-point favorites over Golden State tonight, but a betting system goes against the Spurs.

This game begins at 8:30 pm ET. Click here for all NBA spreads tonight at Sportsbook.com.

Normally reliable San Antonio suffered a home loss to Houston on Sunday, which reduced their lead over Houston and New Orleans to just one game in the loss column in the Southwest.

NFL: BILLS REMAIN A LONG-SHOT

Signing Terrell Owens did nothing to impress oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com as the Buffalo Bills remain a 60:1 long-shot to win Super Bowl XLIV.

While Owens is still a productive receiver, the chances of him elevating a young Buffalo team in a division that includes the Super Bowl favorite New England Patriots, the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins is a tough sell.
