Ohio St. vs. Texas Fiesta Bowl Gambling

NCAAF: TEXAS BIG FIESTA BOWL FAVORITES

The Ohio State Buckeyes are desperate for respect as they face the Texas Longhorns in Monday night’ Fiesta Bowl.

Ohio State has lost each of the last two national championship games. With that said, coach Jim Tressel’s team is happy to be back in the Fiesta Bowl, site of its last bowl win over Notre Dame three years ago.

This year’s opponent is Texas, who has been installed as an eight-point favorite by oddsmakers after an impressive 11-1 regular season. Bettors are backing the Longhorns at a 4-1 ratio.

Utah vs. Alabama Sugar Bowl Gambling

NCAAF: BETTORS NOT BUYING UTAH

NCAAF: LIBERTY BOWL HITTING UNDER

Liberty Bowl bettors are backing the Over for Thursday’s Liberty Bowl but Sportsbook.com members should take a closer look at the Under for the matchup between East Carolina and Kentucky.

Mississippi vs. Texas Tech Cotton Bowl Gambling

NCAAF: BIG 12 BIAS IN COTTON BOWL

The Texas Tech Red Raiders out of the Big 12 are getting plenty of support from bettors as they face the Mississippi Rebels in Friday’s Cotton Bowl.

The Red Raiders are 4 ½-point favorites and 80% of bettors are backing them.

Texas Tech flirted with the #1 national ranking this season and its only blemish came at Oklahoma. Still, the Red Raiders are the annual team left outside of the BCS looking in, thanks to a crowded Big 12 South Division field.

NCAAF: TIGHT ORANGE BOWL ODDS

Oddsmakers predict a tight contest when the Virginia Tech Hokies meet the Cincinnati Bearcats in the Orange Bowl.

The Bearcats are 2 ½-point favorites and 57% of bettors are backing them.

ACC champ Virginia Tech is a familiar name to the BCS. Big East champ Cincinnati is a first time participant. In fact, the Bearcats have never even played a BCS-Conference opponent in a bowl game before. Will that be the difference in Thursday’s Orange Bowl?

NFL: G-MEN LEAD LIST OF SUPER BOWL ODDS

Having a first-round bye is huge in the NFL Playoffs and nowhere is that reflected more than in our updated Super Bowl Odds.

The four teams resting this week are the prohibitive favorites with the New York Giants (+250), Pittsburgh Steelers (+450), Carolina Panthers (+500) and Tennessee Titans (+600) leading the way.

The Giants are not surprising at all as the overall favorite, as the defending champs beat Carolina in the Meadowlands by running all over them to the tune of 301 yards. And while that was a close game overall, New York should be 4-6 point favorites if they meet in the NFC title game.
