Saints Ready To Contend With The Best In The NFC In 2014
The New Orleans Saints have been perennial contenders under head coach Sean Payton. That was the case again a year ago when the Saints followed up Bountygate with a run to the NFC Divisional round in Payton’s return from a one-year suspension.
After a disappointing 2012 campaign, the New Orleans Saints bounced back to go 11-5 last year, sneaking into the playoffs as one of the two NFC Wild Card teams.

The New Orleans Saints will travel to Lincoln Financial Field to open their postseason against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Saints have struggled on the road this season, while Philadelphia put together a better record away from home than in their own building during the regular year.
