Round 4 Deutsche Bank Championship PGA

Round 4 Goes Today – PGA FedEx Cup Betting

Mike Weir narrowly missed carding a 59 on Friday, but his four-under 67 Sunday gave him a one-shot lead after three rounds of the Deutsche Bank Championship. There was a second cut at three-under-par 210 with 14 players missing out on the final round. Among those 14 were 2007 champion Phil Mickelson, who shot one-over 72 to finish at 211, Adam Scott (211) and Kenny Perry (213).

“I’ll just go out there and play,” Weir said, adding that his third round wasn’t “textbook” because his ball-striking wasn’t as sharp as he’d like. “But I held it together.”

Given the quality and number of players close to him, Weir will probably have to do more than hold it together.
