Line Movement
The line movement has not been much as the Tar Heels opened as one to two-point favorites and the line has risen slightly to -2.5 with a -3 out there as well. This is a surprising line move as most money has come in on Florida St. yet the line is going the opposite way.
The total opened at 48 and has remained steady.

Nebraska is the team to beat in the Big 12 North:
Nebraska squared off against an undefeated Missouri team on Thursday night and came away victorious. The weather conditions were extremely poor with the rain causing both teams to make mistakes. Nebraska trailed 9-0 at halftime and 12-0 at the end of the third quarter.

2009 NCAA Tournament National Championship Game

These two teams met earlier in the year at Ford Field. North Carolina dominated the game and won 98-63. Michigan State did not have the services on Goran Suton. Michigan State is not even close to the same team now as they were in December. In the earlier matchup the lone bright spot for MSU was Raymar Morgon which had 21 points on 8-14 shooting.

The College Basketball Picks season has whittled itself down to the Final Four teams when Uconn takes on Michigan State and Villanova looks to upset North Carolina. 2009 NCAA Tournament Final Four Action

Villanova is 3-1 ATS in this year’s tournament. They are getting fantastic guard play out of Scottie Reynolds. In this matchup UNC will have the size advantage. Because of this, the perimeter shooting for Villanova must be on.
North Carolina Tar Heels have all the pressure on them as the odds on favorite to win it all. This is the third year in a row that they have been the favorite for almost the entire season. Last year this UNC team fell short of winning the Championship losing to the eventual champion in the semifinal game. Coach Roy Williams and this experienced team have had a one track mind all year all focusing on winning the Championship in 2009. Now the Tar Heels are only two games away from realizing all their goals.

2009 NCAA Tournament Elite 8 Action

Oklahoma is an impressive 3-0 ATS in this tournament with an average margin of victory of 17 points. But they are 2-6 on neutral courts as underdogs and 4-12-1 as underdogs between .5 and 6.5. College Basketball Player of the Year Blake Griffin is what makes this team go.
As I watched the brackets unfold on Selection Sunday, there were few surprises as the number 1, 2, and, 3 seeds went pretty much to the teams I expected. Some could argue that Memphis should have been a number one seed instead of Connecticut, but to me it is a mute point as the pairings placed them on a collision course in the West final either way.
All the marbles will be on the line Wednesday night in another fantastic college basketball betting affair when the North Carolina Tarheels (21-2, 9-12 ATS) invade Cameron Indoor Stadium to do battle with the Duke Blue Devils (20-3, 11-10-1 ATS).
Western Carolina is the only team in the country that is averaging more than North Carolina’s 95.8 points per game. Thus far the Heels have outscored their opponents by an average margin of almost 27 points a game, and it’s been done for the most part with the team not at full strength.
This year’s Meineke Car Care Bowl features an interesting sports betting match-up between two teams expected to challenge for their conference championships this year in the North Carolina Tar Heels (8-4 SU, 6-5 ATS) and the West Virginia Mountaineers (8-4 SU, 4-7 ATS).
